That doesn't mean he belongs on this board. This board is for prospects with mutual interest. The staff is in touch with a lot of prospects, notice they're not all on this board? The staff was in touch with Fitts before he committed to USC and nothing really came of it.

With Denbrock visiting this week, maybe that sparks more of an interest. I'm sure if it does Lax will put him on the board.

Never said his name should be included in the list. Just saying that the talk of Fitts to ND is fuelled by more than some hopeful fans on an internet forum.

FWIW the reason I don't include people like Fitts is that they haven't visited ND and don't have a visit planned to ND either... and the window is closing. There are a lot of people "interested" in ND but then don't walk the walk.

If Fitts sets up a visit he immediately goes on the list.

If we get Vanderdoes, then Prevot/Hollins.

If we miss on Vanderdoes, then Fitts. He could grow into a good 3-4 DE that plugs gaps.

Honestly, I would rather have Vanderdoes AND Fitts.

Even if we get Vanderdoes? With Anzalone decommitting I think we really need another linebacker. If we got Vanderdoes I would not be in favor of taking Fitts over Prevot unless he can play LB, which I don't think he can. But if we don't get Vanderdoes, then I agree, I'd rather have Fitts than Prevot.

Yeah. Signing day is Feb 4 (first Monday in Feb) so the 2nd-3rd would technically be the last weekend before signing day. He's already visiting UCLA on the 18th and probably Oregon on the 25th.

Normally Id agree, but I don't think it's that fluid. Fitts doesn't seem that athletic, whereas Terrodney is an athletic freak and IMO has a higher ceiling.

I agree with the dream ending. We'll find a way at LB, we need to keep the DLmen coming.

Signing day is always the first Wednesday, so its the 6th if I remember correctly. Isn't there some kind of dead period for a few days before it though?

I'm just curious- are you under the impression that Fox and/or Calabrese play OLB?

Ben Councell, Jaylon Smith at Dog. Supposedly C.J. Prosise could move down to Dog from Safety.

It is inside ND does not got much for 2014. It is Jarrett Grace and thats it. Randolph could play CAT but is also verstatile enough that he could play inside. I'm guessing they go that route with Randolph giving the lack of depth inside.

2014 is definitely thin at ILB, you are correct. The way things are looking, we will either have to move someone inside or a 2014 recruit may be seeing some serious time inside. This is where the AA thing really did us dirty. If he were OLB, his loss wouldn't hurt quite as much.
