I don't think we should laugh at him. I agree with his premise - there is wayyy too much unnecessary (and frankly mostly unfunny) sarcasm posts after every single thing posted. It has it's time and place, and some instances are hysterical and greatly timed, but I think it is being extremely overused right now on here.

Thank you for saying this, IM8. I love IE, but this is the one aspect of the board that at times frankly makes it a little unenjoyable. Not consistently and not most posters, but I still wish it was less than it is.

Just an update the Eddie will consider ND and take his visit no matter what happens to Kelly. Eddie also believes that Kelly will be back.

BK should've called Eddie to tell him the news himself before anything was released through the press. Make him feel special, like the call before the NCG.

There is following as an observer, from a distance and then there is following as a direct participant...messaging players, etc. Some of you guys (those would be the ones invading these player's privacy and trying to force your way into their personal lives) need to watch the DeNiro movie The Fan or even King of Comedy. Maybe you will see an uncomfortable similarity and rethink your actions.

2011 just called me and said, "What took someone so long to say that?" I responded that I actually did say something about it a long time ago but Ironman has more cache so people actually listen to him LOL.

Thing about sarcasm is that if you do a good job of it, no italics are needed.

But yes, people use it WAY too much here, esp a few posters who shall go nameless.

As for Eddie, I used to think he was a pipedream, but man, people that know more than me seem bullish on the idea that he could very well end up Irish (not favored necessarily, but as good a shot as anyone.

Him tweeting yesterday that he talked to Coach O and couldn't wait to visit USC on the 18th didn't give me the warm and fuzzies however. As with Redfield and his OV to USC back in Dec, gotta get out of that weekend without Eddie recommitting to U$C...

I think if we get through the USC visit on the 18th without him recommitting and still taking a visit to ND we are in great shape. USC hits home runs with their OVs on the reg and Ed O/Kiffin are great recruiters... but 1/25 could potentially be an epic weekend if everyone expected to visit makes their visit and close how we're capable of closing.
