Really a fruitless endeavor to engage in any hypotheticals regarding transfers. When it happens, it happens. Almost all programs have at least a couple transfers every single year... in fact it's extremely rare to have a year without someone transferring.

Not really sure what thread to ask this in? I guess this one is as good as any. What day will EE's get on campus? Usually we have that day down and get to hear who made it. This year I have no clue.

There will be plenty of room if Prevot/Vanderdoes/Robinson/Larue want to come. All 4...no...but a combo of 2 of them yes. 3 is a huge stretch. Numbers game. After Monday...guys will leave to go pro or comeback. There will be at least 1 transfer from what I am told, and thats not even counting if someone goes on medical. Sure its a selective process with it being a numbers game, but ND is already using the pressure game. A repeat of last year isn't going to happen, and they are taking the proper steps to ensure that doesnt happen.

TP can obviously speak for himself, but I would assume he just means that the staff is making no bones about letting kids know that the train is leaving the stations with or without them. Also, there are multiple kids in play, more so than spots, so this allows them to whiff on a kid or two and STILL walk away with someone they want and prefer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Right. They recruited over the two kids who continued to take visits.

EXAMPLE for 2013 : Player A essentially tells the staff that ND is his leader. ND can then say....well why dont you verbal and call it a deal. Therefore it cuts out any potential visits, and doesnt leave other kids hanging. Benefits everyone involved. When you are playing for a Natl Title..that speaks for itself. Its not potential or a promise that may or may not happen, its reality.

Example for 2012: Player A tells ND they are his leader. But continues to look around. With losses at the end of year it gets in his head whether or not ND can get to the BCS. ND can't really force their hand bc they have so many kids on the edge of committing, but not sold on what ND can do for them. Without being able to pressure, you lose kids.

Now there is a fine line of pressure. But at the sametime kids understand that other kids that will commit are waiting and they all understand the process is intense for everyone. Itll be interesting to see how things wrap up!

This is mind boggling to me, as Anzalone must have been contacted by someone from UF during this time.

I could be way off but I truly believe AA had his heart set on UF and didn't want to look bad by flipping again. He was gonna do this anyways and waited until the day before EE at UF to do so to lessen the backlash. The Kelly saga just made it easier. Good luck to him either way and congrats to Allgator for the get. Wish we could have got him but that's recruiting.

Oh they are going out ... Sapp said they'll hit the road as soon as the dead period ends to focus on 2014 guys. I thought it was next week that they were going out but ALLGATOR may be right and they may already be on the road (except Diaco, obviously).

I personally thought the question was fair and I dont know why many of you get upset with him. It's not like Florida is doing anything great for him to poke fun of us about, I honestly think he is just curious just like alot of us are about what the coaches are doing
