What really gets me is the guys that write those bash articles would get injured trotting out on the field to hand off the Gatorade bottle. Pencil neck geek that never played a down at any level always has the stupid opinion based on Jack Shat! Then there is the 25 year old kid that weighs buck 05 that thinks he knows it all because he plays Madden 10 hours a day. I just want to punch em in the face. Is that wrong?

First of all...you used a Vince Mcmahon slur "Pencil neck Geek"...so you get reps no matter what...Those were the days

and agree on the classes of writers out there...no its not wrong to punch them.

I'm getting pumped.

You start lifting with Diaco?

I know what you mean. I'm watching UF get mauled and started yelling at the TV about the great overated SEC when my wife says, "You're really getting excited about Monday's game aren't you?!" lol

I'll call a sub .500 bowl record for the SEC this year. I'll call Florida as the only one to win out of the four left.

Florida should beat Louisville handily, although I am hoping for more of a battle than expected. Next to FSU/NIU this is the most lopsided matchup the entire bowl season. Actually Georgia/Nebraska was pretty bad too.

Johnny Heisman will flop against Oklahoma. Huge distraction and he doesn't have the maturity to deal with it AND perform in the Cotton Bowl.

Pitt has some talent, they want to make up for a disappointing season and Ole Miss is garbage.

Bama loses to ND because WE ARE ND and they aren't.

There you have it, SEC goes 4-5 in bowl games. My vBucks are counting on it.

Guess I need to revise my prediction... Bwhaaahhahahahahahahhah!!!

Still think Johnny Heisman lays a big egg and more confident Pitt destroys Ole Miss to keep the future ACC rolling over the SEC.

Interesting. Not as interesting as FL losing to L'ville, but interesting.

Asked about ND's linebackers, Alabama receiver Kevin Norwood references "Monte Te'o, is that his name? I don't watch a lot them."

Notre Dame needs to win this game more than ever now.

The liberation from the SEC oppression in college football is happening right before our eyes. It won't be a victory for America without the national championship. Even the SEC does go sub .500 in bowls they will still be the king if they win the championship.

ND you are America's team. You have players from 27 states. For America you guys got to get this done.

Good news is that Louis Nix won the singing contest. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

in six road games this year totaling 360 minutes, Notre Dame has trailed only 48 seconds — 3-0 at OU prior to Cierre Wood’s 62-yard TD run.

Colin Cowerd just said ND and Bama being in the championship will have a 20-rating. To compare, that's 3 times the rating of the world series. He said college football will be the biggest sport in the world in a year from now because of ND.

Colin Cowerd is an idiot. ND is popular but to say college is going to surpass the NFL is idiotic. I prefer college to the NFL but most do not and will not. Just because you are saying something pro ND Colin doesn't all of a sudden make you right.

The only thing I read was he said something like, "It's Rudy vs. Forrest Gump." But he went on to praise Alabama. I don't think he meant it in a negative way.

I think his health is less of an issue than the amount of legit practice he gets in. It's not like he just missed a week here. He may still be a beast, but I doubt he will be as effective as he would have been had he been practicing all along.

Spoke to a Bama fan who has pretty close ties to the program. Jones has been doing plenty of conditioning and work that requires him to use the foot and ankle. If he's not 100% he'll be awful close.

Even at 99%, he's going to have to deal with 100% of Nix!

Good. To show you are truly the best you want to beat the best at their best.

Yeah pretty much. As an example the Washington v Dallas game this past weekend earned an 18 rating.

The closer we have gotten to the game the more confident in Notre Dame I have become.

#SEC

@InTheBleachers
Even if Barrett Jones was 100% he'd have hands full w/ Nix. A hobbled Jones is in trouble. No Jones? More trouble.

@CrimsonCorner
@InTheBleachers Jones handled Jenkins from #UGA who has double the stats that Nix has. Jones played on one foot in #SECCG!

@InTheBleachers
I'm sorry, but if you think John Jenkins & Louis Nix III are the same type of players then you're telling me you don't understand football.

‏@InTheBleachers
Ok. RT @CrimsonCorner: @InTheBleachers Point is... B Jones is Outland & Rimington winner and will handle Nix with minimal problem.

‏@InTheBleachers
Nix is a 330 lbs dude that they run stunts & games with and allow to shoot gaps. It's a different game than leaning harder than opposition

‏@CrimsonCorner
@Berns247 @InTheBleachers No, B Jones has played 3 diff OL positions and won Outland & Rimington & Nix got owned by freaking Pitt! LOL

‏@CrimsonCorner
@InTheBleachers LOL... Pitt...yes Pitt... ran OVER him! Enough said!

@InTheBleachers
@CrimsonCorner goodness, you go & pull numbers from a game you didn't watch. Thanks.

‏@CrimsonCorner
@InTheBleachers I did watch it. #Pitt PK gave the game to #ND. 3 OT's. Was bad football!

@InTheBleachers
@CrimsonCorner you win. Jones is going to have his hands empty w/ Nix. No effort needed. Show up & it's a done deal.

‏@CrimsonCorner
@InTheBleachers Like I said.. let's see how it plays out and good luck to your team. I'll put my money on #Bama and Jones all day!

@InTheBleachers 4h @CrimsonCorner look if you're a stat guy, that's cool. I don't agree based upon seeing how Nix has played all year.

QB Gunner Kiel wearing No. 10 at #NotreDame practice. He didn't change it from No. 1 -- he is AJ McCarron, essentially.
