While that is something that I stated earlier it could also be due to lack of interest until now on Prevot's end. Just something to keep in mind.

For DE's, ESPN has his test results showing a 4.67 40-yard dash. The fastest for all DE's in the country according to ESPN is 4.66.

i tried posting this awhile ago but it kept coming up as an error...anyways it is an older article but sheds some light on the type of kid he is
Torrodney Prevot does it all with a blue-collar mentality - ESPN
insert RKG, ND MAN etc...
Great read I just don't know how much more weight he can add to be a CAT OLB. not sure on his frame, but feeling is he won't end up at USC either. Btw neg reps the RKG, ND man, Notre dame type kid.
nanana1I can't be the only one thinking this.
How do you pronounce his first name?
I like how we are just picking players off the USC commit list.
Let's see..I'll have a Max Redfield..ummm, Eddie Vanderdoes..maybe a Sebastian Larue...nope, not done yet...ummm, I'll also have a Torrodney on the side.
Army Bowl: Thursday Notebook
Neither does his coach, Jody Jordan. I’m writing this from a Hooters (don’t judge, I need Wi-Fi), pretty much the most overrated place in America outside of California, and lo and behold Prevot’s coach is sitting next to me, so I did the natural thing. I bought his drinks and tried to steer Prevot to Notre Dame in order to bring an SMU sized heap of NCAA sanctions against you.
Not really though.
Coach Jordan seems to think Notre Dame is the team to beat. Not only did he say he can’t see Prevot signing with A&M, he also stated he doesn’t think he’ll go to USC.
Just like I can’t see Prevot in College Station, I don’t think he’s too keen on attending college in South Central Los Angeles. I’m sure playing for the Trojans appealed to the literary romanticist within him, but if any school can match Southern Cal in prestige, it’s Notre Dame.
Question: Say Vanderdoes is Irish before Prevot is ready to announce (And AQM doesn't come to ND), does ND take Torrodney? (Assuming Redfield is Irish).
I believe the consensus is Vanderdoes would be the "4th" (now the 3rd spot (only open for certain players)), but my question in if the order is switched would we take Prevot as well?
Prevot is obviously a stud but we are already limited next year, so I can understand not taking Prevot or Hollins, etc. if this is the case.
But didn't Vanderdoes say that he will wait until signing day?

3- Torrodney Prevot, Houston (Texas) Taylor- Prevot, who currently is committed to USC (considering Notre Dame and others), has an excellent frame and a very quick first step. He wasn’t dominant in every session, but certainly makes his share of plays.
Great. Question. I think it depends on how many spots we have, i.e. who the coaches decide we need back for a 5th year and who may need to go on medical schollie. Vanderdoes is a make-room, must-take guy, but I don't think Prevot is. We'll just have to see whether there is room. There may or may not be a 4th spot, according to the BGI guys, and they haven't confirmed what it depends on.
