Seriously, I got what I always wanted. To spend Christmas with the dozen or so people I love the most! Really, when this group gets together, nothin' but smiles and happy times.

My second son said it best, as the kids were runnin' their bell lap around the table, with my oldest son egging them on. He looked at us and said, "Can you imagine anything like this happening in the old days?"

I love and treasure those that went before me, but this crop is full of corkers. They know how to love and laugh and have fun.

Coincidentally, I got a ND BCS T-shirt grudgingly from my one son and daughter-in-law who are not ND fans. I nearly died.

I didn't get a lot of new ND stuff, because I was already a fan, and already have a bunch of stuff .

I know thats right! Did any of you sign up for a Rivals account while they were giving away $99 gift codes to their fan shop? I did and this morning I used it and got 5 pretty sweet ND shirts! Granted I had to come out of pocket some but it was worth it! It was a great deal because it got me some gear and basically was worth the price of the annual subscription. The site is not bad either. It's basically stuff you will end up seeing on here but I like the stories and podcasts as well.

My son got a couple Nerf guns and a PS3 with 4 or 5 games and a 1 year membership online and an Amazon gift card -- more games I'm sure.

My wife got a Silhoutte Cameo (craft cutting tool), The Parisian Novels print (Van Gogh) for the front room and a speech pathology book she wanted (she starts a Master's program next fall).

I got an electric guitar, a white Te'o jersey and an ND grilling set (although it is lost in the mail somewhere). Also got an Amazon gift card.

I got an autographed mini helmet signed by Manti Te'o from my daughter and her family.

We got all five kids and their spouses matching stitched ND shirts and sweatshirts. Forgot to get a pic of everyone before they left.

I got this present today called the university of notre dame..football vault..the history of the fighting Irish.......it has replica tickets in it for big games throughout the years....home tickets to the 88 national championship....letters from knute rockne ...anyways really cool collectible

Received about $500 in 4wd/4WheelParts gift cards for my jeeps, 10 other various gift cards ranging from Outback to Bass Pro to AMC. A couple nice checks from mom and an aunt I dote on. Various shirts and sweatshirts. Bought a titanium Breitling for myself.

Got my mother 5 bird feeders, 2 squirrel feeders, and another 40in LED. One aunt a 7in GPS, the other Nordstrom's gift card. Uncle got a RL wool sweater. Tons of gift cards to various cousins, friends, etc.. Gave my best friend an IPad4.

Have been in Indy this week and will be exchanging with the GF back in ATL next week. Got her a Tag. If she's true to form, I'll get either a watch or a Hardy/Yurman peice.

Very good year. Thanking the Lord for all the blessings. Also sponsored a family for Christmas which was probably the most enjoyable of it all.
