As of 6/22 Bamaonline reported that according to sources close to Foster expected to be cleared in time for Alabama's summer registration on July 2nd.
Tonight I found no updates on Foster since June 24th. While Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence ... I'd be expecting the Alabama media to be awash with joyous tidings had Foster been cleared, registered, and enrolled at UA. But there doesn't seem to be any announcement.
IF he hasn't been cleared by the Clearinghouse, he still has time to do so this month or next. However if the problem was a specific course he was taking in summer school and didn't get the required grade, he might have a problem with retaking the class this summer. IF it was a deficient ACT or SAT test score he could still retake but he might have to sit out the early part of the season waiting for a test score and NCAA certification.
Keep in mind this is conjecture as I couldn't find any updates.
