I saw Sony in action tonight. He has some sick cutback and start and stop ability. He'd be perfect for the spread.
He looks smaller than what he's listed at though.
It'd be nice to have a shot at this kid, he kinda reminds me of Keith Marshall.

Sony will see Kieth play in person at the UGA VS UT game tomorrow

Obviously at the top of my running back board for next year but IMO very little chance at this kid.

Sony would be ideal, I just don't know his interest level in us. Seems like a somewhere in Florida lock to me.

I like to think that Alford's recruiting abilities are exponential. With a 6-6 2009, he was good. With 8-5's, he was really really good. With 12-0....watch the **** out, America.

Lets not forget the time he talked Louis Nix into coming to ND after our head coach got fired.

Sony makes the highlights and the music for them.

He looks the part of the backs Oregon have had in there system, Lamichael James and Kenyon Barner esq.

I haven't really looked at this kid, but I'm wondering how you guys would compare him to Greg Bryant? (i) how do their skill sets compare, (ii) who fits better into ND's system, (iii) comparing only up to (and including) their junior years, who would you rank higher? I'd be interested in opinions on any of those questions.

Sapp has been saying for awhile that we are in a great position for rb with the 2014 class. If we land folston, the staff is going to recruit and holdout for the elite back they like. Which will make for an exciting recruiting season.

I wouldnt consider Bryant a true "power back," but compared to Sony, Bryant is the power back while Sony is the flashy RB that will make people miss. I havent see a bunch of Sony, but I truly think they are about equal in terms of being very high on the DO WANT list. They are even in my eyes. If ND gets Sony, we would be set at RB for a long time.

I wonder how the recruitment would go if ND indeed gets Folston this class and Elijah Hood for '14. So much talent, so few spots.

Folston plays slot and Hood LB. I see no issue there.

Sony is at the top of my list with Raekwon, Hood, Peppers and the lb from Illinois.

I realize he can play LB, but isn't the staff recruiting Hood as a RB? He's a beast at RB. Folston is being recruited for the Hybrid which will spend some time as a RB, not purely in the slot ala Toma.

The fact that there is no Miami is crazy. I like our chances better now than I did a while back.
