@umichfootball

J.T. Floyd, Brandin Hawthorne & Will Hagerup have been suspended for the Outback Bowl for a violation of team rules.

Well. Hoke runs a tight ship I guess. No reasons listed.

Grades, failed drug test, missing/late to a team meeting. I believe these are the usual possibilities when there is a "violation of team rules."

Right, but no need for reckless speculation at this point.

It's kinda nice to see a coach have some integrity. And I in no way do I mean BK doesn't.

Lets see what the offenses are are first. Frank Clark committed a felony and started or played in every game but Alabama.

I don't think we know enough about the reasoning to make that assumption. Two of these guys are seniors and it is suppose to be their last game of their career. Say for instance, these guys showed up late to a team meeting because their class ran late, and in a fit of fat rage Hoke suspended them. Would that be an example of integrity?

I guess you could look at it that way.

I hate scUM also but they are a worthy adversary, a classic football power, I can respect them on some level. I am sick and tired of these johnny-come-lately programs that have built their football reputation by ignoring or bending every NCAA rule, and exploiting student athletes for their own enrichment without even attempting to fulfill their end of the bargain by educating their student athletes. Then they have the gaul to look down their nose on the classic programs that try to actually honor the concept of amateur student-athletics. South Carolina's efforts on the student-athlete front are PATHETIC. They chant $EC, $EC, but have never won anything, most $EC schools are riding on SCAMA's coattails. I can tell you right now I will not be pulling for any $EC program ever. Comparing Notre Dame to the $EC is comparing apples and oranges. Comparing scUM and Notre Dame is comparing oranges to tangerines. I hope scUM kicks the living crap out of South Carolina, I hope any B1G team with the exception of OSU beats the crap out of any $EC school. (OSU is in my opinion trying their hardest to be $EC-like)

Sad end to a decent career for JT Floyd. He's from south carolina. Essentially, Floyd & Hawthorne get a de-facto dismissal since they're seniors.

As for Hagerup, this is his 3rd suspension due to team rules. He has to be on thinnest of ice right now. Failed drug tests at Michigan are an immediate dismissal per Dave Brandon.

The missing "r" was noted but considered a colloquialism.

You may have coined a new word with "mis-english," though.

YES!! I moved from Cinci to Columbia this summer. I cannot stand the attitude these USC fans have. In their minds they are a much bigger program than reality.

I had to get satellite radio upon moving down here 'cause every sports radio station is all SEC all the time. Disgusting!

Report: Denard Robinson pleads guilty to driving with suspended or revoked license | MLive.com

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson pleaded guilty Monday to driving with a suspended or revoked license, according to WolverineNation.

The report says Robinson was pulled over in Bath Township, just north of East Lansing, at 1:33 a.m. on Nov. 4. Michigan had beaten Minnesota earlier in the day, but Robinson did not play due to a damaged nerve in his throwing elbow.

The Deerfield Beach, Fla., native was pulled over due to expired tags and failing to signal, Bath Township Police Department Lt. Lyle Lindemulder told WolverineNaiton.

Robinson initially pleaded not guilty to the charge on Nov. 21, according to the report, but missed a subsequent court date and a bench warrant was issued. The warrant was cancelled Monday, when Robinson appeared in court and pleaded guilty.

Robinson paid $870 in fines and costs for the suspended or revoked license charge, according to the report. He also had to pay $65 to renew expired tags.

Any attys here help me out? I understand the part where he could have pled not guilty to the illegal turn, but how does one plead not guilty to expired tags and driving on a revoked license?

An example for the license- here in Indiana once you receive a citation, let's say speeding, obviously you have to take care of the ticket, either pay, plead not guilty or ask for a deferment (promise not to get another ticket in the next 6 mo).
You also need your insurance company to submit a "Certificate of Insurance Compliance" to show proof that you had insurance on the date in question. If the BMV fails to receive the Cert of Comply your license will be suspended.

So in this example if DR can prove that he contacted his insurance co and they failed to submit the Cert of Comply or can prove that the Cert of Comly was sent and that it was not processed by the BMV then he has a a legal argument.
Please note-In Indiana you can’t provide the proof in insurance to the state anymore on your own, it all has to be done between the insurance company and the BMV.

You can plead not guilty to any charge- it's up to the prosecution to prove that you are guilty.
