gonna be hard for him to win it without any INT's not that it equivalates to being the best, but it looks better on paper.

very true manti would have probably beaten Keuchly to some awards last year if he had a few INT's and more sacks.

OU kid should win it. He is straight nasty and the best saftey in college football in my opinion. Anyway, back to Zeke, Congrats brother, well deserved.

I think Motta is playing faster and a harder hitter than even Hayseed. Definite top 2 round pick when he is done. I do not think he gets enough credit for the success of this defense. You always hear about the front 7 which is very deserving, but he has been a rock in the secondary.

Zeke has definitely improved his draft stock but I highly doubt he'll be drafted in the first or second round.

Wish I could agree with you as I like Zeke, but Hayseed could flat knock you cold like he had 2, 45# plates jammed down the back of his trousers.

For some reason I thought he had one more year. My bad! I do believe he is having an incredible year though, but my draft thoughts were based on one more year. He will get drafted, but depending on the combine probably a late rounder.

Smith is/was a better athlete, but I'll agree that Motta is a better tackler. He is also playing babysitter back there most of the time, whereas Smith played his senior season with Blanton (Sr), Gray (Sr), Slaughter (RS Jr) and Motta (Jr) himself.

I've seriously been impressed by Zeke. He just won't be able to put up the combine numbers that Harrison did. Motta lacks top-end speed and his hips are not great.

Didn't the team unanimously call him the worst dresser?

Now I get why.

I know of your prophetic past but I'm not so sure about that. I think round 5 sounds about right.

On the other hand, "there is no chance Russell plays defense here"
Scout, inc. has him rated as the #92 overall prospect. I can't see him getting past the 3rd round.
