IDK guys...I'm not really impressed with GA III. He needs to do a lot of work in the off season. He has to get a lot stronger, needs to pickup pass protection, needs to learn how to read blocks, needs to learn how to low his shoulder, needs to not run so damn high and needs to not look so stiff running laterally.

IMO Mahone becomes the feature back next year.

I agree about GA III. I try to picture what kind of back he can be. He's great in space with his speed but he doesn't seem to have a lot of lateral movement. His cuts seem soft and one dimensional which makes it hard for him without holes to run through.

I don't know if that is a skill that can be improved upon, some of you may know. I can picture him being a 235lb bruiser with great speed if he's willing to go low and hard. His speed with that mass and strength would really fill a hole in our group that we lost with the departure of Gray.

Theo is listed at 5-11, 200 and Cam is 5-10, 195

They lie all the time on height and weight.

Rewatch the Miami game, look at Cam next to Tommy Rees.

Not saying it's impossible because Theo is a smaller guy too, but I wouldn't count on it.

And GA3 is a fast guy that they are trying to make into a RB.

You hit the proverbial nail. Hitting the holes and reading the blocks could be from a lack of experience. He does need to learn how to lower his level when he hits the hole.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Cam push for the number one spot, simply because he runs through contact so well. I like to think of Cam's running style as VIOLENT. In limited opportunities, it seemed like he was stiff-arming/shoving a DB off of him while still going full speed, and was busting through the line taking what he could get first and foremost. And the more I think about it, the more he reminds me of Riddick.

Riddick has gotten the bulk of the carries because he embraces contact better than Cierre, and because he is versatile in his ability to play receiver. If the coaching staff likes what they see from Cam's ability as a pass catcher, the RB competition will truly be a four-way battle that goes down to the wire.

In regards to Amir -- Michael Floyd was "injury prone" after his fresh and soph season too... they happen and you recover

So what was the original news on Bryant? Is he visiting? Are we visiting him?

Swag. We may actually have a shot here with Auburn losing Chizik and South Carolina looking like they'll take David Williams.

If we somehow get Bryant, I think I'd flip out. This kid will be tremendous.

Is Bryant competing for Jamel James' spot now that he (James) is looking around? Could we potentially close with both Bryant and Folston?

Only way I could see that is if both Mattingly and James decommit and the two medical situations result in medical scholarships.

So I'll say no.

Kid isnt a 5 star IMO. Definitely a top 150 though. If we lose James which I think we eventually do we could take both Bryant and Folston in theory. Don't know how likely that is though.

Just got caught up with all the updates on BGI. This is exceptional news. Wiltfong is really excited about this and in turn makes me excited.

He's arguably the best back in the state of FL this year. FSU buddy said he was at the top of their list, ahead of Green and Collins. I would take him in a heartbeat, if he's not a 5:s: he's about as close as it comes imo.

Not sure why, but I dislike his tape. For whatever reason, I came off very unimpressed. Runs WAY too high, too much dancing once impacting the hole.....(and at his size, he should have been running over people, not finessing), and constantly ran with the ball in the wrong hand....(poor ball skills).

We have bigger fish out there to fry in my opinion.
