When is Carl gonna start canoodlin' with Hershel's other daughter?? Hell, she was basically given the green light to when instructed to comfort him. Which, honestly it is kinda creepy, that they've sorta made that a backburner story line.

Good show last night. I am assuming Michionne is heading to the prison after over hearing Maggie and Glen talk about it.

Then Rick, Michonne, and Darryl go to retreive them which I believe will end in a bloody fight to the death between Darryl and Merle. The governor allows them to take Glen and Maggie back and Andrea leaves with them after seeing the Gov's true colors.

sounds like a plan, except they probably build up the arrival for that mid season break thing they always do. then we really get some action in 2013.

Yeah, I saw that too. I thought it was a great episode and I like the leader of that new group that arrived at the prison. Carl impressed the hell out of me as well. Little punk's growing some nuts.

Holy cow! What a mid-season finale! The past three episodes have been incredible! Glen is straight up BAD ***!!! Loved the Michonne and Governor battle royale!

My only issue was how easily Andrea accepted the Governor's explanation of the floating head room. She really has bought in to the whole mystic of the place. That might change now that she has seen Daryl.

Rick thinking he sees Shane was one of my favorite scenes this season. Wonder if that is going to keep happening.

Great episode! Can't wait for February. No Walking Dead for 2+ months. No Irish football for one month. No NHL for...well, who knows how long! Dammit!!! What am I going to do to occupy my time?!?

It's a "mid season finale" I've learned this because a lot of my gf's shows do the same thing.

It's just a way of drawing out the viewers and interest for 2 more months

Wow what an episode. I am not shocked at all by the Gov. turning on Merle. He is a sociopath bent on keeping power and keeping all foreign "threats" out of his perfect little town. He wants/needs total control, so by pinning the problem on a scapegoat, he deflects the fact that others out there could be right in how to deal with survival, and that the defenses were just bypassed.

Don't buy it. Probably a ruse, so that Darryl and Merle and can "escape" together, Darryl will bring Merle with him back to the prison, and then Merle becomes the Governor's inside man to help him take the prison.

I think you guys are looking too much into this. Don't forget that Merle told the Governor when he came back that he had killed Michonne and the threat was over. Now because of that he no longer has his eye. He turned on Merle because he now knows Merle lied to him, and he was maimed because of it.
Now I wouldn't doubt the Governor might try and use him as an inside man, but that's not why this all went down.

Going to ble interesting how's they get out of it... Again the new video game stars Daryl and Merle,.. I seriously doubt they'd hurt the momentum of that release by killing either prior to launch
