looks cool but i dont like the idea of folks profiting from NCAA student athletes in this way.

Meh. At least the guy put work and materials in. To me that's less shady than the guy who gets Manti to sign a ball and then sells it for 80-100 bucks. And that's much more common.

true, i went to Detroit Lions camp this summer and saw some of those deadbeats. One guy had his 3 kids with him just so they could all queue up and ask Megatron to sign mini helmets that obviously the dad wanted to sell on Ebay. He was instructing his kids to hold the helmets by their face cages afterwards so the signatures wouldnt smudge and ruin the value. I swear the youngest kid was about 5 years old or so. Then he made them all start queuing up about 10 mins into a 2 hour practice so they dont actually get to see the players do anything on the practice field. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.

Don't see how that guy could sell those, they have all the Adidas logos and everything. I would think the university would shut him down.

Not to mention the ND logo's with our own trademarks and copy rights.

They'll have a better chance of getting him when the Bears beat the niners in the Superbowl.

I'm pretty sure he is making only ONE and selling only ONE. Very unlikely that he'll get into any serious trouble. Might get a letter from ND that says "Hey... Don't do that again." if he catches their attention. Which is unlikely.

He should just give it to Manti.

Not sure they'd even have an argument against him. It's a piece of art.

There will never be another Manti. This may be your last home game at Notre Dame stadium, Manti, but your spirit will remain a part of the Notre Dame legacy forever. We fans will remember you as vividly as we remember the four horsemen, the Rocket, Tim Brown, Alan Page, and oh so many others.

Wow. I didn't think it would be possible to be more impressed with Manti than I already am, but there it is.

He has officially become my all-time favorite IRISH player, but not because of that article. For what this kid has had to overcome over the last couple of months, and to demonstrate the absolute pinnacle of class, leadership and ability both on and off the field is just incredible.
I could not wish for enough success for this kid.Like it was mentioned, he is a legend.

My man(ti) crush can't possibly get any bigger. What a role model, and not just for kids.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. today on #NotreDame LB Manti Te'o: "If you want Manti Te'o, you need to be picking in the Top 2 or 3."

I don't know if I see him going that high, but would be awesome for him. No matter where he goes in the draft, I hope he winds up with an organization in which he can thrive.

I would be crazy pysched if Manti went that high.
Heres the draft order top as it stands:
1. Kansas City Chiefs
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
3. Cleveland Browns
4. Carolina Panthers
5. St. Louis Rams (via Washington Redskins)

Not sure if id want Manti to be at any of teams, maybe he could team up with Keuchly in Carolina but the rest of those teams are soo ...meh. I wanna see Manti in the NFC North or East one of those old teams like the Bears or Eagles or something when he will be in primetime alot more.

Teams to pick first this coming cycle have been notoriously terrible. KC, Jax, Carolina, Cleveland.

Here's hoping someone trades up.
