Are you honestly on here talking about rights and "rejuvenating the Constitution" (whatever that means) and at the same time suggesting that protesting in public will get you put in jail? Have you, by chance, ever read the Constitution?

As for what it means. Yes it's sad most the people here on this site or even the people you come in daily contact with can't name every Amendment or what they even mean. So i think as a country we have seen our peak and are on the decline. The only way we see change is for something drastic to change. So if the good state of Texas wants to be our sacrificial lamb SO BE IT!!!!!!!

Then I'm sure you're aware of the fact that the right to protest is guaranteed. Sure you might need a permit in some cases and you may be limited in where you may assemble, but you aren't going to jail if all you are doing is peacefully protesting.
