Its cool when the players go batshit over the Paul Bunyan axe or the Floyd of Rosedale or the Oaken Bucket.

We have like 5 trophy games, but you never see the damn trophy on the field. Why not?

After the Michigan St game half the players didn't even know what the Megaphone Trophy was.. haha

In all seriousness though, all rivalry game trophies are inside the Gug (along with 6 of the heismans and the rest of the trophies from bowl games, national championships ect) the 7th heisman is in the Joyce center along with another smaller exhibit of trophies and national championship rings

But why aren't they out on the field on gameday like everyone else's trophies? And why don't they get talked about? Hell, they are making a big deal about the "Purdue Cannon" around here for chrissakes (Purdue vs. Illinois). Most people have no idea we even have trophy games.
