IDK, just can't see the style point thing. If UM and OK are the comp, not a lot of style points there, and we've beat both. I think this is a kid who 1) has just plain favored UM from day 1, and 2) a kid wanting to be the stud of the team in an O that will make him the primary target.

Exactly what I meant. Playing on the poll voting, somebody else looking for more "style" points. His style.

Things are trending up with LT. There are several positives. When this kid makes a committment it will be over...but I also dont expect it to be soon. Not real sure where everyone thinks this kid is a headcase. He stated Michigan was his front runner, ND wasnt recruiting him hard at that time, he has cancelled visits due to football. I mean its a damn positive he came to the Miami/ND game in chi. Theres no hiding he wants to stay close to home, and I have a feeling our staff can beat out Ole Miss when push comes to shove.

No doubt. But how much will winning impact his decision? If Michigan goes 8-4 and we go 11-1 or 12-0, could that be the deciding factor?

good to know ND is still in play-seemed like we have been out of it. The Irish need a dominant WR.

So is there any news with treadwell will he be visiting again. Its hard for me to believe that he wont end up with michigan, and that we have a chance without him setting up an offical visit

Mgoblah does not like...

I think ND weakness is good for us, but it also isn't safe to assume that recruiting success has anything to do with signing day perceptions. This year's ND team is built on defensive players and offensive linemen from Charlie Weis's last recruiting classes and guys like Louis Nix who committed a day after Weis got fired and ten days before Kelly was hired.

Te'o was on his official visit during a loss to Syracuse where fans were pelting players and coaches with snowballs. Then Jesus/God/Mormon-Jesus told him to go to ND.

Perception rarely equals reality. SEE: "MSU is getting all the awesome in-state recruits!" followed by those guys going 5-5 now as juniors/seniors.

yone who thinks ND winning the national title would be better than, say, an SEC team should think about cases like this. We recruit head-to-head against ND far more often than any of the other current national title contenders. We should want them to crash and burn against SC and hopefully also in their bowl.

Talking about ND winning the national championship is scary.. we were basically ball safety away from winning that game

Must be those new shiny ND helmets, all the recruits love these uniform changes... (see: sarcasm)
