if it matters at all Anzalone Favorited a lot of pro ND tweets today. He knew what went on tonight.

Its unfortunate how impressionable this young man is coming off as. Florida loses and ND wins, both in big game games with bcs implications, and he suddenly is tweeting pro ND.

I wonder if today increased our chances of holding onto Anzalone? That .gif of Muschamp raging at Clay Burton probably doesn't hurt us either.

I'm SO glad you brought this up. I was watching the game and it blew my mind that the announcers were laughing it up, thought it was SOOOO funny that Muschamp was blowing an artery. Meanwhile, CBK gets lambasted for doing the same exact thing two years ago on the sidelines. I hate to beat a dead horse (or is it not?), but this is proof positive of the anti-ND bias in certain media and it makes me sick.

I love it. I would love to play for a coach like that, just not at UF. I love BK because of it too.

Update on BGI on Anzalone. He watched the game and liked what he saw. He is filling out his ND application today (already did for UF) but doesn't know if he will be able to visit again before January (schedule is going to make it tricky). He is still torn and doesn't know if he will be able to visit UF either. Will come down to the wire.

similar on ISD. Said he will probably have a playoff game the day of the Wake Forest game so visiting then might be out of the question. He will talk to the staff to see if he can visit Sunday-Monday instead.

I really hope this kid (Anzalone) can convince his father that he needs to "carve his own path" and that Notre Dame allows him to do that. I think he is going to be a special player!

So he's already completed his UF app and he has yet to complete his ND app? WTF? Soft verbal is an overstatement.

Come on AA, gt with the program.

You do remember right. I don't remember who it was, but they couldn't OV to the Miami game. Didn't know if there was a way around it for Bowl games.

I think it was Redfield who tried to OV that game. But he came the next week because he wasn't allowed. Maybe Hawkins, but I'm pretty sure it was a California DB.

I found this on SBT about the Soldier Field game and I'm assuming it's the same for Bowl games.

The Irish can offer tickets to recruits, most notably those in the Chicagoland area, to attend the game but the coaching staff cannot interact with the recruits. This differs from the typical rules for an unofficial visit on campus. Like other unofficial visits, the Irish cannot pay for the recruits transportation to and from the game.

Entirely possible that after his visit the staff told him to do that. And after he finished he realized he needed to do that for ND as well.

Trust me, procrastination and high school kids go hand in hand.

Also, I'm assuming he has to fill out the regular admissions application for ND and that sh*t takes forever!! Much, much harder than Floridas. I seriously spent weeks on it. probably just wanted to get the easy one out of the way first...

1. No
2. No
3. No
4. Most likely Army AA Bowl
5. No
6. No

None of the players listed are supposed to commit until after their season... so I really wouldn't expect anything to break in the near term.

I don't think Moore comes. I think Treadwell has been trending towards ND lately (no source, just gut feeling). There will be a hard cutoff with the number we take. It's not as simple as "you take that guy and make room." I think it comes down to a first-come scenario from here on out between Luke, Mack, Redfield, Folston, Treadwell, and AQM....plus assuming one of those listed may even be a silent.
