Russell AND Jackson have been playing good this year. With those two being back and Farley being back at safety next year, my goodness I don't know if we will have a defensive flaw next year

He is playing very good. A lot better then I expected. But he is at CB to stay. He makes good tackles and doesn't try to blow people up.

Bennett is tied for 3rd nationally in Interceptions.

Inside linebacker could be an issue IMO, but the defensive line will be the best in the country and the secondary will be absurdly good.

I agree, Manti Teo's don't grow on trees. We may never get an inside linebacker like Manti again but I really like Kendall Moore and we recruited the best group of linebackers in the country for 2013.

Nix has to stay for that come to fruition though... It seems Nix's draft stock keeps rising.

But I do agree, ILB may be the only position in question... I wouldnt say concern, but you dont know what we are getting in the player that replaces Te'o.

I have the biggest mancrush on this kid, right now.

He is WAY ahead of what anyone expected. Not to take anything away, but the front 7 has helped the secondary a ton. I'm becoming a huge fan though, he has swagger, and is a damn good tackler.

Junkhead said the most important part, this kid is a great tackler. ND has played the zone quite a bit and have given quite the cushion, but Keivarae has made an incredible number of open field tackles. This kid could lead a clinic.

What an amazing surprise he's been. I admit i was dead wrong about our secondary sucking. I have never been more happy to be wrong. Go Russel, kid is like ice. What a great freshman season. No matter what happens from here, he has entered Irish lore. F You Stills!

Imagine if we all possessed this young man's confidence in ourselves, that we trusted that we could physically and mentally walk into the biggest arena's or settings and excel. Dare to be great and make history doing it. We have a lot of special people on this team, this young man has set his place at that table, and I am a big fan. Thanks.

Keivarae was under-the-radar when he arrived on campus. Sure, we were all excited to land a 4:s: RB/ Z WR, but with our depth at those two positions, most expected a RS season for him.

Fast forward to today, and he has undoubtedly been the most important commit of the 2012 class. Huge fan of this kid. That shoe-string form tackle in space he made in the 4th quarter to force yet another OU punt was a thing of beauty.

Add in that bennet did great today, but he layed some soft coverage and seemed to be targeted. Still did great though. But Russle, just puts blankets on people and never misses tackles.

Comforting to know we got a lockdown corner for the next 2.5 years minimum.

It hought he was a little shaky at first but really settled down after the first quarter. He had a solid game and he is going to be a very good corner

You know the coaching staff is selling these true corners that, "look what we have done with a running back."

Seriously. I've been pumping Keivarae all season. His tackling is lights out.

He has been astonishingly good this season. To think I was arguing pre-season that he would redshirt this season and then return to RB/slot ... That shoestring tackle on 3rd down when it looked line he was beaten ... His sticky coverage on deep routes ... He brought it last night, in all phases.
