.

For ND that means eating up clock and pulling off the win in the 4th quarter.

This, the only way we will win this game is if we control the clock and keep it within 7 points (or less) going into the 4th

Weather is supposed to be low 50's and sunny. Perfect weather for football.

I suspect Kelly may open the playbook a little more this week and bring out a few new wrinkles. I also think we'll see some blitzes right out of the gate, then maybe back to the normal D after getting the Sooners confused and rattled a little.

We're on the same page here. Maybe Golson being out for BYU gave him more time to prepare for OU. Maybe some more designed runs, roll outs, etc. Can't even begin to explain how pumped I am for this weekend. Going to be a long week...Go Irish!

This DT situation is a big deal early in the year they were missing both starting tackles and it showed. The D only gave up 17 vs Kstate now they have another DT back and I thought the D line played well vs Texas. Game will probably come down to which QB makes the least mistakes

I don't buy that they have had to play a lick of defense all year. The Big12 hasn't shown that anyone in their conference is capable of playing stout defense. It seems like the same "basketball on grass" type of play we have became accustomed to ove rthe last few years.

On the other side of the ball, no one they have played has a lick of defense. Notre Dame will be the first good defense they play all year.

Kstate plays d, that is a very fundamentally sound team.

Cosigned.

A Bill Snyder KSU is one of the most disciplined teams you'll ever watch. They just so rarely make mistakes. I don't know how he does it, because it's not like KSU can recruit on par with the OU's, ND's, Texasses...

Transfers and JUCO's Kansas has some good JUCO football. He gets those kids to buy in.

I am surprised he never took a better job then KSU.

Pretty nervous about this week. Easily our toughest game of the year to date. I would favor the Sooners at home and based on the last few weeks. It would be so great if we could pull it off. We have to play perfect though.

i dont think he took a better one secondary to the fact that the man built the program from scratch, and i think he treats it like it is one of his own children. plus the man is treated like royalty there.

Exactly. Is there a better job for him than the situation he has there? Probably not.

Looks like Vegas is expecting a blowout...

I have to watch as much OU as ND with my wife being a Sooner... My first thought is you can get into Jones' head and really disrupt things by hitting him early... And EG has to be accurate and efficient.

This is a team that has lost three times at home under Stoops... Right? Three freakin times... Our boys have to overcome Norman as much as The Sooners themselves... Going to take a hell of a game.

Was saying the same thing to my buddy earlier. The best thing that could happen in this game is an early pass rush on Landry, a la the FSU bowl game. Landry is not half as mobile or strong as Manuel, and can get rattled. If we get to him early, it will really help our secondary a ton.

Lol. Lupoi could probably get top recruits to come to Manhattan, KS, but first you'd have to get Lupoi to Manhattan, KS ...

$$$ seems to work.

Lupoi could get recruits to Alaska. It's crazy how good of a recruiter that guy is.

Four. They lost to KSU this season.

Has any other head football coach ever coached in a stadium named after himself other than Snyder?

I'm 99% sure that this was one of those Aflack questions, and that there were other coaches.

I thought it was 2-3 coaches.
