FLDomer, don't see why we need to call him that.

But I have it! A new line for Kelly and his staff when recruiting defensive players, "We see using you just like the guy who kicks Percy Harvin's @ss!

(all I can say is I better get some serious reps from this . . . )

I hope you aren't serious? I am calling him that because that's his nickname, because he is from TN and a southern boy. It's not derogatory, but a sweet a$$ nickname!

Harrison likes/liked the nickname. Its really not a big deal if someone on here wants to call him that.

Very solid line, but don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

He looks great out there against the Niners right now. Just made a real nice tackle in the backfield on Gore.

Apparently he's played really well in the first couple of weeks.

Three years ago, I never could have imagined Harrison Smith would be this good. He went from terrible to solid to great to first rounder in two years. Pretty sick.

Is it possible that Motta could end up doing the same thing?

Not first round but making a case to be drafted which is much better than I expected

I wouldn't say that. He doesn't have the speed to play safety in the NFL, and doesn't have the size to be an OLB (what he came out of HS as).

I disagree, he's a sure tackler and is always in position. I wouldnt take him on the first day or anything but 6-7 round you could very well see him picked if he continues to play the way he has and has a good pro day

People were arguing over Harrison's 40 time last year.

Lets just wait and see how well he does at the combine.

Continues to play well. Had a huge hit on Megatron today that forced a drop and prevented a touchdown.

Harrison's combine 40 time was nowhere near his reported 4.38 in HS either. And he still ended up in the 1st round. That said, I think Motta is in the 4.7 range.

Ummm...That's the one thing he's not and has to work on.

Dude was getting smoked by Navy's 2nd team WR's....He's got a long way to go.

This from the guy who said Harrison smith wouldn't get drafted...

I will never live that down....LOL

And I didn't say Zeke wouldn't get drafted, I just said he has a long way to go. I'm going safe on my predictions from now on....

Zeke is really coming on this year. He made a break on the ball in the Michigan game where he watched the ball while covering one receiver to nearly pick it off while breaking on the receiver near the sideline! Was very nice, last year you wouldn't have seen that from him.

We haven't played a really good passing team yet this year. We'll know more about the secondary and more specifically, Zeke after Stanford, USC.

I agree with the majority on here that I think Zeke is really improving his draft stock. His back pedal seems smoother, his hips more fluid, and his change of direction is getting a lot better. Those are all things that are tested for at the combine.
