Bahahaha... another great one. I think BK was happy and is feeling good. He's got a little swagger.

I really want to know what Manti said to the team after getting the game ball. Then again, it wasn't for us to hear.

David Haugh... yes, David Haugh, just wrote a glowing article in the Chicago Tribune.

If even he can bring himself to have something nice to say about ND... well, any debby downers out there who can't can officially kiss my ***. Looking at you, Mark May & Co.

bell just went off for 253 yards yesterday. we shut him down. msu will probably win the big 10, we made them look terrible, all Im saying.

against an average MAC team...seriously you can't take that seriously. any team that has the capability match up with MSU physically and force them to throw the ball is in deep trouble. imo they lose by 10 next weekend to urban

About to get on this plane to Chicago... final notes/predictions!

-Golic Jr. and Lombard are the two "unsung" offensive players who will have a drastic impact on whether ND wins or loses. Meh.
-Zeke Motta is the most important player on the defense... needs to tackle when he has the chance, needs to cover when asked to, and needs to lead by both direction and example for the young guys back there. If there was ever a game where we needed Motta to play lights out... it's tomorrow. Score.
-Watch for at least 2 bogus holding calls/no-calls in favor of Michigan and 2 bogus PI calls/no-calls. In basketball the easiest way to point shave/put in the fix is with the block-or-charge call... in football it is holding and pass interference. Hoping these Big Ten refs aren't encouraged to stem the poor OOC performances by the Big Ten and are instead a bunch of Ohio State/MSU fans...... Overall got a pretty darn fair shake... Michigan got away with a number of holds but we might have also that I didn't see. PIs seemed to be called correctly for both teams.
-If DaVaris Daniels is 100%, he has a big impact. Led team in receiving but not a huge game.
-Watch for a breakout game from either TJ Jones or Chris Brown. WRONG.
-There are at least 3 occasions where Troy Niklas/Ben Koyack completely screws up blocking and it destroys the play. Meh.
-They send Gardner deep and throw him the jump ball at least 3 times. Correct and we made the plays we needed to.
-Danny Spond gets an interception. Nope, but everyone else did.
-Roy Roundtree goes for 100+ yards and 10+ catches. NOPE.
-Denard Robinson turns the ball over twice in the first half. Try 4 times!
-Everett Golson completes 60% of his passes and goes for over 300 yards for the first time. Because he's a gamer. LOL NOPE
-And most importantly.... no cold rain during the game!!! CORRECT!

I clearly need to stick to my job as a structural engineer and forgo the career as a fortune teller. But the only thing that matters is that WE GOT THE WIN!!! WOOO!!

Watching it live seemed like a very fair shake.... very fair. Maybe a couple of holdings missed but that could go both ways... kinda hard to tell from the stands. What was your opinion? I thought it was a very consistent overall job from that crew from what I could see.

Has anyone mentioned Keivarae Russell's picture perfect tackle on Devin Funchess? That was a great play.

The young secondary as a whole.

Russel is playing well beyond his years, as is Shumate.

Baratti made a brilliant play, staying at home and not biting n the play fake for an easy pick.

BJax is playing very well also.

we'll see but even if they do lose, they are still the favorite to win the big 10, say what you want but bell is an nfl level rb and um's offense has given everyone this side of alabama trouble. including ours for the last two years.

Coach Kelly post game teleconference:

We want to stick with one QB-Golson, not a 2 QB system

Kelly says the game for Golson "may have been a little bit too much for him"

Needs to get better on offense no question, but we're 4-0 we'll be better in Nov. than we are now.

Want to clean things up on both sides of the ball during bye week. Start game plan on Wednesday. Some rest with self scout this week.

Rees and Golson have supported each other this year and it transcends team. Everett has lot of respect for Tommy.

Baratti - savvy for game. Came from good program in Texas. Has real good sense for the game.

Michigan game was best medical report in 4 weeks this year (no injuries or bangs)

We've left a lot of points out there. Not just the QB. Have to be more consistent.

We can win in many different ways, can be really good team if we continue to work hard.

Defense has been about keeping the points down, now we're taking the ball away. That's next level of championship defense.

Knew Bennett Jackson's ability would put him in position to be good, but experience has helped him take off.

Carelessness led to decision to pull Golson "jitters" after 5th series.

Don't see benefit to Golson rotating series with Rees. Dialogue should take place in practice.
