He's a Redshirt freshman. Lol a hybrid of the two.
The season is young but Kiel will be starting next year .
Kiel has too much talent...
I won't say Golson can't hold him off, but, Golson has to get the mental part of his game together....
May the best man win!
Substitute "Rees" for "Golson" in the above quote and this statement was probably made at the same point last year on this board. We are 4 games into a college career guys. Give the kid a f-ing break. At the start of this year much of this board was saying stuff like, "I'm cool with 7 or 8 wins, as long as Kelly goes with Golson. He needs to learn and he's our future." So now that's out the window already and people are calling for a kid who hasn't seen the field in live action yet? C'mon. 3 weeks ago we were salivating at a kid who could hit a 25 yard pass while rolling out to the right. Kid had a bad game, that's it.
Where did I call for Kiel to start?
I've stated before that I'm still with the Golson train, I was just stating my opinion
With all the experienced QBs we are going to have next year, Kiel better be exceptional.

You didn't. I used your quote as an example of a quote that was most certainly used last year many times, but with Golson in mind over Rees.
My point being that people need to chillax. 4 games in, that's it.
ND fans are fickle...
Most football fans are fickle. Everyone loves the back up QB or the QB of the future.

Our defense is too good to waste with a sluggish offense. I want us to pull out all of the stops. We need a QB to step up.
That's all I will say.
