To extent you may be involved in that decision process, please consider the relative degree value on offer from the schools recruiting Marcus. The odds of finding long-term success in the NFL are truly terrible, so recruits are well-advised to get the best education available to them.
I would say were a pretty good friends. We have a past with eachother. I am however not going to get to involved in trying to persuade him either way. He knows all about ND. I am Irish 100% to the point where its probably unhealthy. He is a recruit that is coming on late and getting a lot of attention. He is just trying to get a feel for what is best for him on and off the field.

Only in the land of college football could a kid consider entrusting himself to Lane Kiffin and have people commend him for doing so. I love it!
In any other context I wouldn't trust that guy as far as I could throw him, and he reminds me of an evil frat boy from an 80s movie.... BUT, he is nice to kids he wants for his program AND he is able to get pretty good offensive production out of his 40 5 star athletes... I recently read he started acknowledging his office staff...OK, I'll go to USC.

NDFan22, if you were offended, my apologies. You hear this a lot when a kid is looking, and I find in humerous when they are looking at USC, Alabama, etc.
We are ND fans. NDFan22 is described as the biggest fan of all. In our world, Hoke, Kiffin, Saban, etc., are the bad guys.
Lane Kiffin is never what is best for you. I know it is smart to treat a recruit with kid gloves. But--and I say this as a fan--you go to USC to meet girls, play football, and kill the nerds. Since I believe in the immortal soul, I don't think that decision is ever best for you off the field.

As much as I hate to say it boys, we are not truly in this one. He will official to ND i believe. Badgers have to much going for them. Also dont be surprised if Pitt jumps into his top schools. ND would be a tough fit position wise as well with the current commits.

Marcus is not being recruited as an inside lb. I personally still feel safety is his best position because of his athletic ability an absolutely lays the wood and has great hands. He is very aggressive and can jump with the best of them.(at least in the basketball court) more importantly he is a good kid that really is overwhelmed with all the attention he is getting.

I would take all the secondary depth we can get. If we whiff on our remaking cb recruits our secondary could once again be scaring us in 2013, not that ball would necessarily end all doubts.

Prosise and shumate switched positions idk if they switch back next year but we also lose slaughter and motta(or does he have one more year), so we have no game prooven safeties next year. But I agree we don't get Marcus hes all Wisconsin
Agreed 100% he's a badger. It's too bad the class filled up quickly on d for him (good for nd) but the kid is a hell of an athlete and will be good wherever he goes. And he most likely will visit but just for the experience because he was in awe on his visit over the summer. It'll just be a visit to go to a great place for free is what I'm saying.
