I would take this kid any day after reading this article. Kid talks the talk than walks the walk. Not sure why you wouldn't want him just because he does thing differently doesn't mean he won't be a ND kid or a RKG(pains me to use that). Would bring a edge to this football team and some confidence. You want to compete with the best you better start recruiting and getting the best. Especially out in Florida.

are you kidding? Not like this kid is in trouble or been suspended. You need kids like this on your football team if you want to start going to BCS games. Kid would be a difference maker on the field at the corner postion from day 1. We can't say that about anybody else that is currently committed besides maybe Jaylon.

Plus Mack is a popular kid down there and lets be serious we have no business histrocially recruiting down in Immokalee and that area. He would be recruiting for us for years to come. I have no doubt Mack would get in the ear of most kids down there. Kid might be x girlfriend type crazy but man i love that kind of crazy lol.

I'm talking about the chirping, telling the reporters that another player sucks after the fact. Saying that you're going to call a coach and tell him that his commit sucks. That screams "swag" to me, and not the good kind.

Just so that we are clear and nobody starts attacking an opinion that is not being held, is any suggesting that they do not want Mackensie? I'm hoping that there is just concern that he may be a headcase or immature, but if it is more, if you do not want him to be Irish, say so now.

I feel like we said the same exact things about Lynch coming out....

Whatever. I'd love to have him on our team if I knew he was going to stay for 3+ years

If we turned away a kid every time because of a concern of him transferring we would be very limited. Lynch was worth the shot. He was and is a great talent. Some risks are worth it. A risk that will help at CB is definitely worth it (so long as the risk is only transfer related and not criminal).

I'd love for all these kids to stay for 3+ years but it just isn't going to happen for all of them. Hell even the one year we had with Lynch was exciting. I hate that he left but it was fun to watch and I'm glad he gave it a try! Alexander may get here and love it or he may decide its not for him. Either way I'd be thrilled if he gave it a shot! Oh and you can throw in Luke, Moore, and Willis to boot!

I don't really blame anyone for being a little PTS'd from the last few recruiting go-rounds... but each case if different and we have to start landing these kids on NSD if we hope to see the program get where we want it to go.

I will be happy as all get out if we land Mac. EXTREMELY important recruit for us imo.

I like guys that chirp as long as they back it up and he looks like he can. He could get into a lot of receivers heads. You can say that they will just ignore him chirping but everyone know that it is not true.

I laughed so hard when he said he was going to call Muschamp and tell him to recurit better players. I guess if you can back it up with your play you can talk like that.

I don't know why anybody would care what this kid says right now. Sapp and Wiltfong have said his recruitment will probably go on until signing day. I would guarantee he'll be one of those kids on ESPN in early February putting on a hat. Whether ND gets Mac or not they have to get 2 more good DB's in this class. No excuses for this staff after last year.

My understanding is his personality isn't the typical ND type. I think a Lynch comparison is fair (without the baby mama drama). Definitiley a kid you keep recruiting and if he wants to sign you take him. He is the #1 CB on ND's board and they will make room if needed. The Atkinsons are both big talkers so I don't mind the attitude.

My favorite recruitment this cycle. He has to be all types of crazy for the Florida staff to slow on his recruitment.
