Rees coming in for the 2 minute drill reminded me of matt leinart's rookie season in Arizona when the coaches didnt trust him to run the offense hurry up so they would have Kurt Warner come in and run it until Leinart got up to speed. Which is never really did in the end :p

"You are looking live..."

First and ten folks 14 32 in the first quater this play right when might set the tempo for the rest of this football game. Young Everett Golson might be growing up right in front of are eyes here folks.

I know Musberger can be cheesy and his typical mannerisms can be annoying, but I've always liked him. His announcing just gives the game more of a "big game" feel, and I think he makes the games exciting.

According to "the experts" on ESPN, we don't know who Notre Dame is yet and coach Dantonio is like Nick Saban.

But the best one they said is that Maxwell gives MSU an "added boost". Am I missing something here? He is no where close to Cousins and his receivers are no where close to what they had last year. He struggled at home to Boise State and he played a horrid Central Michigan team.

Gotta love "the experts" at ESPN right?

Talent wise Golson >>>> Maxwell. Only advantage Maxwell has is the experience of being in the offense for 4 years.

I'd say that this is the biggest game of Brian Kelly's career, even slightly bigger than the game against USC last year. A win here, against a top-10 team on the road, would immediately put ND into the BCS discussion, something that would multiply out of control if we beat Michigan in two weeks.

If we can win here it will start shuting people up. Yes i know we could go 12-0 and one Mark May would still hate us. But i think even with a young team alot of people are excited by this Mich state team. We win in the national spot light heads will start to turn including the confidence that the players will have. I however think that Mich state is slighted overrated.

It's absolutely bigger than last year's USC game. ND already had 2 losses going into that game last year and were actually favored. Top 10 MSU on Saturday night has program changing potential with a win, especially when everyone is expecting a loss. Staying undefeated > playing USC with 2 losses.

If we win this week I feel like next week will be close but if we lose this week than I feel like we beat the **** out of Michigan.

Getting more and more worried about this game as each day passes. MSU got pushed around last year and they have made it very clear that it won't happen again (and I believe that).

I feel we are going to come out flat, fall behind and not have the confidence yet on offense to come back.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
