I'm on the East Coast so the game starts at 9. How do I get that season opener/gameday vibe going? Party Friday night or an early morning visit to the pub on Saturday?

Come out of a black out from Friday night

LOL... might be in the same boat. Going over to Tybee Island with a buddy (Tennessee Alum) to meet another buddy coming big D. Going to hang in Savanna or Tybee and watch the Tennessee / NCSt game Friday night, then get up early to watch ND dominate the the seamen. Then going to celebrate a victory while watching the Bama/UM game!

I have my BIG MONEY fantasy football draft Friday night. I'm the only one of these friends who gives a damn about Notre Dame, so I will have to be careful not to go to sleep until 5:00 am (the draft after-parties tend to get a little out of control). Also, my fiance is in a wedding on Saturday on the Cape, so I cannot just get up and watch the game, get re-drunk and then sleep the rest of the day after the game is over. So I will only do moderate drinking during the game, then nap, then get my butt to the Cape before anyone notices I'm not there yet.

I'll be on vacation in Savannah GA with the wife, looking for a pub or bar that will be open serving alcohol at 0900.

I will be watching the game at Finnhenry's with the rest of the ND Club of Orlando. They will be serving breakfast and the bar will be open! Sometimes Ian Williams's mom and Heggie's parents join us should be an interesting morning none the less!

Toss up between bar at 6am or my couch at 6am. Either way I'll probably start drinking coffee again.

Gotta a bachelor party the night before. No idea what I'm gonna do after the game. Could still be up from the night before or massively hungover

I just hope they win so it doesn't ruin my whole weekend... how I will celebrate is secondary.... on second thought the way I would LIKE to celebrate the win would be with the wife and I sharing Kate Upton and maybe Alex Morgan... meow.

Well, I'm going to need a lot of coffee. Alaska is not working out so well for this kickoff. 0500 will have to be coffee fueled!! I will undoubtedly wake my three year old and cranky wife at some point during the game.

Well, I plan to get hammered drunk Friday night, go to sleep at 3 AM, wake up at 6 AM, start hammering a 6 pack of Steel Reserve tallboys, and hope for an ND victory!

I will be in bed early on Friday (10pm or so) and up early on Saturday (5:30am or so California time) to cook breakfast (biscuits and gravy with some corned beef has) and to drink some Irish whiskey. If we lose I will drink all day to drown my sorrows and if we win I drink to celebrate.

Irish whiskey chased with Irish beer for the game, then drinking lots of water after because I have to go to work at 4 and I'll be trying to look & act less drunk then I'll likely be. Eye drops and breath mints will help me through.

I'll be at Blitz sports bar at 6:00am with the ND club of Phoenix. I work nights so I'll just be getting off work, it helps me not feel like an alcoholic for drinking at 6:00am.

Here in California, I'm gonna watch the pregame show from 4am to 6am, then the game from 6am to 9am, then go to work, then drive home and watch the tide roll.

Going to bed at a normal time Friday night w/ no drinking, then gonna watch the game with a cold one in hand. Still deciding on a good place to watch the game out here in South Bend, preferably with a loud crowd...

I just hope I have power to watch the game...was leaving for DC tomorrow, but with Isaac, I don't think that is going to happen.

I love sticking to pre-made schedules. Plus, my roommates will help to "remind" me of that schedule.

About the name, I figure it would promote less hostility on these boards!

Watch Rudy with my son and then the game with a Shrmip-n-grit breakfast.

Then I get to do my homework for 4 engineering design classes (takes all day). I might get done before the bama/Um game.

I'm headed back to South Bend too. Between the Buns is having a free breakfast from 7am-9am. But they're not advertising what that includes so I'm a little concerned. Brothers maybe?
