If he got caught WITH marijuana he'd be done for the semester. I think the protocol is pretty team-to-team for a failed test... 3 games for a first offense is so much more strict than just about every other school out there. I think we'll need him for sure against MSU.

Also, I should add that I read somewhere that Theo was the starter for Navy.... maybe this is why.

It was irresponsible, he shouldn't have done it, he got caught and will hurt the team, shame on him for doing that when he knows that he is in a position like this with Notre Dame.

As FLDomer said, being an upperclassman he has to know the position he is in, and the risk he was taking.

If I recall correctly, some clown started a rumor here that Everett Golson was academically suspended just a couple of weeks ago.

My point is, instead of shaming him for smoking pot, why don't we wait and see WHY he'll get suspended before we kill the kid...

I love Cierre, but if this is true I'm f*cking pissed.
I have no problem with a normal person smoking weed.I'm not a huge proponent of it, tried it a few times and it's not a big deal. But the position he is in, and they way this affects the rest of the team sucks.
I know we are stacked at the position,so it shouldn't hurt. But what if, God forbid, Riddick and/or GA3 go down? Then it puts us into a HUGE bind. Im pissed right now if true.

Maybe it is true, but on BGI they were saying that Theo won the job. Then the rumor appeared on DD. I wonder if the DD rumor could be speculation based on the info that Theo wouldn't start, combined with the facts that he was held out early in camp and he hasn't spoken to the media at all during camp. Very well could be true, but I guess we'll see.
