He just looks so scrawny for 192 pounds even at 6'4".

If he can get to be 6'5"+ and play like this guy, then I'll be very very happy.

He is still really young. He might be 192 now but Im sure he will be around 210 in college

Corey looked taller than 6'4 when I stood next to him at the Spring Game, but I didn't see him standing next to the shark to see if he was 6'5" or not. He did look thin compared to Hunter Bivin, who I did see him standing next to that day.

Per 247 Struggled to gain separation today. Needs to gain strength in his upper and lower body; best football is ahead of him.

Corey Robinson, another Notre Dame wide receiver commit, is an intimidating sight on the field. Standing at least 6-foot-5, he needs to improve upon beating press coverage and route running. I know he’s only played football a few years, but he needs to be a go-to guy for the Irish, especially in the red zone.

From ISD available to anyone.

Yeah I think Corey is going to be a project for the Notre Dame coaching staff

In the sense that there may be a lot to do. But I believe that his upside is that high . . . This kid's picture is in the dictionary next to the term self-starter. Because, after all, here was a kid that was rated nowhere, and his recruiting only took off a few months ago.

I tend to agree that he will need some work when he gets to college, but he could a flat out stud with his size and athleticism. I really interested in how he does his senior season as well, to see how much he has improved.

Corey is going to be a wonderful asset to this football team on and off the field. Kiel to Corey red zone fades will be fun to watch in a few years.

Every player that commit to ND can't be perfect. Let him come in work with the coaches and become a better player.

#NotreDame WR commit Corey Robinson with another nice touchdown catch in traffic. Shane Morris threaded it in there.

Why? Just think how much easier it will be to catch from Malik? Or Gunnar? Or Everett? Or Hendrix? Or he11, even Tommy?

Edit: Please doff your caps for a moment; there has been an unnecessary cleanup of an innocent and truly irrelevant and irreverent post on this thread

Silly me – I thought I could interject a little light-hearted (with a touch of erudition) humor into the mix of non-Robinson related posts in the thread. For heaven's sake, aren't Domers proud of the fact that the school produces well rounded and well educated persons and not just NFL fodder?

[This post will probably disappear in short order. At least I got a couple of positive reps for it before it vanished.]

And here's to you, Mr. Robinson, Jesus loves you more than you will know ...

There is an ISD video where you see why he is a potential big time reciever. He gets plenty of "separation" when his hands are basically 10'0" in the air.

Reported at 6'5, 190 per his coach via 24/7. Ran consecutive 4.5s at that listing as well.

Sick.

Great stuff. Let him fill out a little and we will have another DGB on our hands.

In February as a 16 year old, he was reported as 6-4, 195 or 6-5, 190 running a 4.6. Six months later the reported numbers seem in the same ballpark. "Sick"? What am I missing? That his coach reported his time is .1 better? Was there more at 247?

I was very impressed with his Opening performance particularly considering his limited time playing football and the quality of his team's competition. There he ran with the big dawgs and took home the prize. That was sick!

He's an impressive young man on and off the field. With his drive, I was half expecting another superlative like he's up to 200-205 and lowered his time. He's got a year to build his body, strength, and speed - before Longo gets him.

I thiink the extra inch, and small improvement in speed is alone enough to qualify for "sick" :). I'd like to see him end up 6-6 or 6-7 adding 20lbs of muscle, in the low 4.5s or high 4.4s.

I think realistically he'll grow another inch, get a little quicker, and add 10lbs before arriving at ND. Longo will add another 10-20lbs first year, and shave a few points off his speed. Anything else would be freakish

You would be "missing" because you assume focus on of adjective was a 12 month change, whereas I simply believe that a WR reporting at 6'5 190 and running a 4.4 is sick, and gets me very excited thinking about his projection to a WR at ND. He was sick before, and is even sicker now in my eyes. Does there have to be a threshold or qualification for using adjectives in describing our thoughts on the measurements and attributes of our prospects? What am I missing?

IF it was 4.4 that was reported, I agree, but here is your post that says 4.5s. Did you strike the wrong key (5 instead of 4)?
