White helmet with the dome in gold outlined in blue?
Think about it.

I think number 3 is a close up of the helmet and the leprechaun is gonna be there. Looks like the back of his head to me.
I hear you. But it could be worse. We wear gold helmets to represent the dome, this might have a big golden dome on it.
We'll see...

When is our contract with Adidas up anyway?
Not to totally knock Adidas but their football gear, is so behind Nike its embarrassing.
I fell in love with ND because of their simplicity regarding flash when it comes to advertising, jerseys and what not, but the incoming generation of elite athletes won't see or understand the mystique of said simplicity.
It's not just about player jerseys either, its the fans as well. The last ND item I purchased was the blue and white pullover BK wore last year or the year before. Everything else has been very bland.
Future recruits see this. I don't necessarily think the simplistic ND style has ever deterred a commitment, it definitely doesn't help that we are leagues behind Nike sponsored teams such as Oregon.
I expect to be flamed by the traditionalists but anyone under the age of 30 sees this.
Times are changing, you can still keep tradition while trying new things every once in a while. If the uniforms didn't look good and the kids didn't like them we wouldn't wear them, stuff like this appeals to recruits. If it makes the players and recruits happy then it should make all of ND nation happy.
