I think he was planning on focusing on baseball but with recent high praise and a good performance at The Opening as shifted towards football
If he get's drafted in the first two rounds I don't see how he sticks to football.

I don' think he is projected that high.

With MLB's new slotting system it would be very hard for a team to buy him out of a football career anyway. He's also not from a poor background so he's less likely to make a short term decision and jump at a bonus.

Aren't most kids who are dead set on making the big leagues spending their summers on the diamonds and not at football camps?

Exactly what Tori was doing. The said on the broadcast that he was playing baseball all summer, but took a break to go to The Opening. It was the only football activity he has and will do. the rest of the summer has been baseball.

Thank you. I wasn't commenting specifically on Tori as I don't know his summer plans but was just saying it should be obvious what a kid wants to do if baseball is an option.

He told ESPN he wants to play both. If he chooses to just do baseball it will most likely be because his football career isn't progressing like he hopes. I don't see any real risk in offering him a scholarship.

Uh... he's had one for a while. We are all just discussing he will actually take it or if he will sign after being drafted/play baseball in college.

And I would think he's playing football in college. He wouldn't be wasting his time going to The Opening or taking visits if he weren't serious about his collegiate sports plans.

I like this kid a lot. He has great ball skills. He does like someone mentioned earlier remind me of Justin Ferguson, maybe a tad faster and has a little bit more wiggle. Probably what Theo would have looked like in HS as a WR just has more ball skills and less wiggle haha.

He said he wants to play both in college so idk.

They all say that this time of year. And most say it on NSD.

Then comes the next MLB Draft and Nick Saban tells all who will listen why he has sign 33 recruits a year.

I don't think he is that good at baseball to be a high pick but we'll see.

Maybe not, but he is a former All-Star's son. Is Wayne Gretzky's kid or Shaun Dunston's kid that good at baseball, I don't know but the Cubs sure drafted them both.

Reading on another site that Hunter has been in trouble more than once. Anyone know if that's true and what it was for?

BTW......Can you name the first major league hockey team Wayne Gretsky played for? Answer below

Indianapolis Racers

Uhhhhhhh thought that was his brother??? Am I wrong?

Eh, doesn't seem like we made a huge impression. Or he's jsut an understated guy. But we'll certainly be a player.
