GB didnt you say like a week ago you thought ND would get Tre Bell, Rashad Kinlaw, and Priest Willis. We now lead and most likely will get Bell and Kinlaw. Priest Willis will play out the process but as of right now is a LSU lean. Let's hope your right GB.

your acting like you were questioning me?

In lead for Bell and Kinlaw
Good position for Willis and Barnwell
Hard to believe if McQuay is a Vandy lean, we can't at least try to sway him with a good yr and visit

I actually think we have a fairly good shot at McQuay. He seems to Value academics (Rivals reports a 4.57 GPA for him). Just need to get him to visit.

Preston Jackson said he definitely can see him leaving the state. If we land some of the other Tampa area talent we could have a good shot at him.

Hawkins is deciding this week. Will be either Stanford or USC.

He keeps saying Stanford still leads but I have a very hard time not seeing him end up at USC.

There goes the very small chance we had at Priest Willis. He'll be in his ear the whole time.

It's gonna be a USC DB party at scUM game, Goodman, Willis, & Hawkins. Cravens might as well come

That's the same bullshit that was going on at the USC game last year.. Kids just taking the trip to negatively recruit ND.. Pisses me off.

Why are they invited then? The coaches should have a good feel for who they have a legit shot with and who is just going for the free stuff and/or to neg recruit other guys.

I'd like to see ND coaches not take officials from kids committed to rivals unless we have a legit shot at flipping them

Guys, seriously?

You don't think the staff makes sure the guys showing up actually have interest in ND?

How many kids said they were going to visit ND and ended up canceling their official visit plans last year? A lot.

So everybody seems to think this kid visiting is a bad thing, but if Jaylon Smith was visiting USC this board would be in full meltdown mode.

I know 1/100th as much about recruiting as some of the posters here, so I was being 100% genuine with my question. I would have assumed that what you're saying here is true, but other posters indicated that it was a problem last year and could be again this year, and I was looking for an explanation of how that could happen.

Amen.

Now I hope someone eats some crow when we flip a kid.

Righteous.

Arse grabbing.

The only way he decommits from USC IMO is if they make him to clear room for someone else. His parents are both big time USC fans and his father has been a poster on USC premium boards for a long time apparently.

Yes, and even Chris went on their Rivals board earlier this month after one poster said he was worried about Chris decommitting at some point, and wrote an impassioned post about how much he bleeds Cardinal and Gold.

And then like a week later he told ISD's reporter that he was taking a visit to ND lol, 'just in case'.

Also, his dad said that he wouldn't allow Chris to commit to USC and then decommit. So the only way he leaves is if they gently force him out...

Remind me why we're letting this kid visit again?
