I created the Film Breakdown thread with all of the links in one spot as a convenience for everyone. Today I went back and posted the individual links into each recruits thread so it would be there for easier reference instead of a month from now trying to search for the summarized thread if they ever wanted to view the breakdowns again.

I'm sure it will come out soon but my bet is on diving to catch the ball or a defender trying to hard to jam him. 7 on 7s can be pretty intense sometimes

I'm going with an accidental collision going across the middle. Him and say a safety or LB both going for the ball and the collided.

I am surprised more injuries don't happen. We went to on when I was in HS and watched a guy put his tooth through his lip. Pretty nasty. The thing is when you put a helmet on a kid they subconsciously think they are full padded and begin to play like it.

Glad to hear it. He doesn't need his jaw to catch a football. I'm sure they can secure his jaw well enough that there will be minimal danger of further injury while he's wearing a helmet during a 7-on-7.

That's pretty shocking to me... when my cousin broke her jaw it was wired shut and with the amount of pain she was in I could imagine running around and doing drills.

Also, apparently he's still coming up to ND for the weekend to recruit... with a jaw wired shut so he can barely talk? This kid has dedication in spades....

It is easy to say this now before you realize the pain you are in when taking the simple impact of running.

why not just skip the senior season. Skip practice all next year as well. He only needs to show up on Saturdays for Notre Dame right

He is doing what he loves to do and wants to get better at it by facing top competition in the off season. Injuries happen, deal with it.

I'm glad he's going. Having a strong contingent of current commits together at The Opening could reap serious benefits for recruiting.

This is his first major stint in the lime light. As long as he can participate without risking (further) serious injury, he ought to enjoy it.

He runs very smoothly and effortlessly. He looks like he’s not even trying. I like his attitude, and his route running is precise and is something he’s worked on over the summer. He’s bigger than I thought he was. I'd say he’s every bit of 6-foot-3.
