I know this ultimately comes down to where the kid wants to go, but this is the time we/I hope the parents step in and advise their kids what an opprotunity it would be to get to play and receive a degree from Notre Dame, in comparrison to the small possibility of getting to the NFL by possibly playing on Florida or OSU. I beleive Alex's dad is a Dr., which not saying just because he's a doctor he's automatically smarter than anyone else, but you have to think he's an intelligent man who I hope advises his son of the correct choice for the long-term future, instead of just the next 3 or 4 years, baring any injury or troubles.

I think it also helps that his brother is at osu and not doing as well as he thought he was going to be doing. If his brother keeps riding the bench at osu, wouldn't that kinda stray you away from the same possibility of that happeneing to you at osu? IDK, i'm very optimistic and hope we have a great bunch of visits, with Jaylon and the rest of our Mob there, I think it can only better help our chances.

I'm not taking away anything from getting a degree from UF or OSU, both great institutions, but if you are applying for a job and you are among 3 canidates to receive the job.

1. From UF
2. from OSU
3. From ND

And you all have the same background and experience and all they have to base it on is the degree, I gotta say ND stands out.

(The point is there are a lot of perspectives and at this point arguements are ineffective.)

I don't believe Alex has a brother at pO$U. I believe that Jaylon and Mike H. have brothers there. I could be wrong (just don't think so).

Also '14 LB Clifton Garrett arrives 6/15.

UF already has 5 LBs committed at this moment. If Ogundeko decides soon and picks UF then that makes 6.

5? Shizer! You know damn well that's gonna play a factor. I'm still holding out hope Ebenezer, though I like him at DE, and didn't somebody say possibly MLB for him? Either way would be a very good addition to the D.

Like we have 5LB committed. We have 4 LB committed Neal is going to be an in the box safety. Ogundeko will be a DL/OLB if he committed to Florida it would probably have more an impact on Sheirt than Anzalone. Also Dillon Lawson may be committed to Florida but he has a long way to go before actually getting in to Florida. Anzalone supposedly coming to Florida for FNL camp.

I have no problem lurking but some of the Florida kids I might have some info the board might like to read. Just wanted to ask before I started posting because I know some boards do not like other schools posting.

Dude, most people on this board don't have anything for or against Florida as a school except when going up against recruits. Even that happens only rarely. Florida is not a regional school that people will hate on a ND board, like tOSU or scUM. I get flamed all the time, but I am a tOSU fan, so it is understandable. I am in here mainly for recruits' information, which is what you will be as well. Develop a thick skin, and you'll be fine.

Anxious to get back up to campus.

Last time up here in March he got to hang out with Dan Fox and Tyler Eifert

This time around he will get to meet more ND players as well as other 2013 commits including Mike Huerman who both have built a strong relationship with.

I want to talk to some of the commits and continue building a relationship with the coaches

Harry Hiestand is the lead recruiter for Alex - strong relationship so far and is being recruited by ND for inside linebacker.

As been rumored before he MAY make a stop to OSU for a couple hours once he leaves ND. He also may visit UF shortly after his visit to ND and visit PSU for a one day camp....maybes but liklies.

He wants to surround himself around good people who you know will be there for you.

No timeline for decision.

A large part of Urban Liar's recruiting policy is the undermine and pull recruits/commits from competing schools. My personal opinion is that he specifically targets ND recruits among other competing schools. With that in mind, here are some excerpts from the SBT article



"After visiting Notre Dame Anzalone said he may stop by Ohio State for a couple hours on his way home."

...

"But since opening his recruitment back up after a short commitment, the Buckeyes have continued to recruit Anzalone. Ohio State defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Luke Fickell has continued to build a relationship with Anzalone."

...

"They've been great with it," Anzalone said of the Ohio State coaching staff still recruiting him. "They still want me pretty bad."

I actually doubt he ends up stopping by OSU. I'm sure he'll go to both Florida and PSU though.
