All Harry has done since he got here is get rave reviews from current players and be the position coach where we've grabbed 4 elite prospects for the next class. I realize he wasn't here for Elmer, but all the players, both current and incoming, love the guy. Great hire by BK.

Hmmm, maybe BK really does know what he is doing.

Heistand, Elliott and Booker look like great hires. Booker doing work on the recruiting trail.

McGovern Is A Special Talent

"Notre Dame was the school that he always liked growing up," he shared. "I knew that he liked a few other schools, but Notre Dame always seemed to have a special place with him. Once he went there for the visit, he knew that Notre Dame was the place he was looking for. He's really excited with the class they are putting together and I agree they got some great players."

McGovern is very good. Coach D (I think, might have been one of the new writers who played OL at ND... I forget) said that McGovern is only going to go up in the ratings and might be the best OL in the Midwest. I can't be happier with our current haul... 3 studs and 1 high upside prospect. If we add Montelus we'll have 5 of basically the top 20 OLs in the entire class.

Can't be upset with this.

I would think that OL would be among the least important to have early enroll, correct? Simply because there's about a 1% chance they see the field within their first year, no?

ND getting a lot of love from The Opening. Go out there and prove something.

The kids staying loyal and not talking to other coaches makes me react like this

Had 5 last year. Ferguson, Shephard, Greenberry, Harrel, Perkins.

6 if you count Day who eventually committed.

Neal was also there and Russel ---- committed later and weren't irish when they were there but...

But i'm pretty sure GITF you are referring to Irish commit when they were there...gotcha

Good calls. So we had 5 committed coming in, 8 who were committed at one point or another, 6 who signed, and 5 who will be in fall camp.

So... more importantly... GITF was still wrong with 4 ;)

Who's the 4th? I have Butler, Mcgovern and Elmer.

And there are quite a few kids who we are in the top 3 or lead with that are attending. I like where this is heading.
