Greasy game for Canada today. All credit to the Czechs, they played their asses off. Dostal was excellent in net for them and Pastrnak, Necas and Palat were great!

Losing Crosby to injury sucks. Hopefully it's not ling term.

Ugly win, but they got it done. 2 more points for McDavid. Bring on Finland. It'll be another war.

What an awesome damn day of hockey! 3 tightly contestested games that all went to overtime, with the favourites eventually pulling it out in each. Legitimate nail biters. Hockey is absolutely exploding after the awesome 4 Nation's Cup, followed by the Olympic Championship.

Awesome for the sport that there are so many competitive teams right now!

Sick finishes by both Marner and Hughes to win their respective games. Elite shots from both of them. The Swedes have to be devastated. To lose Victor Hedman to a fluke injury in warm up and then play the Americans that tough, only to come up short is gutting. Great game to cap the day!

Jason Robertson and Cole Caufield being left off the American team when goal scoring from their forward group looks to be their biggest weakness, is every bit as baffling to me as Connor Bedard and Mathew Shaefer being left off team Canada when it's obvious we're short an ideal second line forward and a second puck moving defenseman.

Neither team brought it's best group in my estimation, as good as both teams currently are.

Agree to disagree… I have a good friend that was an NHL player from Austria that loved it when he was playing. It’s just a personal preference I suppose.

i like 3 on 3 for nhl regular season overtime’s,… but there’s a reason they don’t use it in the playoffs. I don’t like the idea of 3v3 deciding medals
