Yeah, Canada has just had the bulk of the high danger chances. The Americans have had a lot of perimeter shots on goal and they've dumped the puck onto Binnington at least 6-7 times trying to break the pressure of the forecheck and avoid icing. The play has definitely been one sided for the last 40 minutes if play.

I'm happy for Helle (begrudgingly) because he was finally the difference maker when it mattered. He's spent his whole career as an amazing goalie who has choked in big moments, whether in the playoffs for Jets or in international play for the Americans. He just hasn't lived up when it matters.

This morning he stole the show and finally got his signature moment. Good for that dude!

I really hope that this U.S. win further vaults hockey into the mainstream in USA. It's a fantastic game. Fast pace. High skill. Huge hits. Fighting is legal. What's not to like?

This win should have American kids around the country wanting to get out on the ice!
