Fact that Simmons wrote the article and is also the one saying he likes where ND stands tells me he heard something off the record. Combine that with Miami bowing out and stating NDs offer is massive makes me think ND gave him a godfather offer and get it done next weekend

I think him making the Notre Dame trip is very telling. The A&M site thought he’d shut it down after the visit.

Any of the commits this week. I could see Henderson officially telling MF in person next week. Maybe he gets the Hayes graphic drop Sunday before JJJ

IB says they are doing trending well with Igwebuike as well.

ND really does make an enormous impact during official visits, especially for kids that they are already in the top 2-3 for. They really have a good feel for how to close. Let's hope that's the case this weekend and next!

Just reading between the lines and this is just my uneducated opinion but I think with the recent canceled visits, that we stepped up on our remaining targets that visited and that will visit next week. Within the next few weeks Sesay, JJJ, Parks, Henderson, Simien all become Irish along with a couple others. I'm simply basing this off of how we did this time last year and no longer recruiting a couple big money guys frees up more money to close on the above mentioned targets

If we get the 5 names I listed above, one of the Anderson's, the Chicago LBer, another out of no where guy like Charlie Thom last summer and a couple 28 guys that's gotta be pretty close if not better
