Most likely from the current visitors: Merrill, Goodwin, Walton, Robinson, Salmin, Caldwell, Clapper, and Ewetade.

Walton has the longest to go, but ND is in his top group.

I expect to land Merrill, Salmin, Caldwell, Clapper, and Ewetade whenever they decide to come off the board.

Don’t really disagree there. He does a great job of getting the most out of his guys. If those guys go from high 3*- low 4* guys to high 4* and 5* guys, it should be fun to watch

When you look at the current roster and guys coming in, I don't see one guy who doesn't have college contributor or NFL potential.

Sure he did, but if you want to go over his whole body of work on the defensive line over his time at ND, it leaves plenty of room for questions.

Al Washington was kind of suspect as a recruiter, and maybe even as a developer, when he got here. He has definitely picked it up the last couple years in both areas.

I'm listening to ISD's Power Hour and Jamie said that according to Matt Freeman, ND's staff doesn't have a set number for how many DL they plan on taking in the 2026 class. Jamie and Mike Frank say that there are too many talented players on the board that they hope ND takes 6-7 this class if they can. If the depth in the class is that good at DL, don't worry about the numbers as the numbers always sort themselves out.

I know the other targets are better, but I might prefer Walker to a back like Mickens for example if it’s complementary to Osborne. I think Walker is getting an unfair review by fans and the recruiting services because his team was awful

In regards to Walker, it wouldn’t be the first time our staff pushed out a running back if we thought we could do better later in the cycle. Not saying that’s the case here, but its obviously happened

Walker is a highly ranked back I doubt he would get pushed out

He's a high 3 star on On3 and 247. His final group also includes no other power programs despite’s his offers, which is somewhat telling for how much they are pushing for him.

He’s still a good #2 in a typical class, we just still are in the running for Bonner / Walton (assuming Osborne is in the bag) which makes this year atypical.
