Robert Blanton hands down!

Teo is a beast and I agree, he does not have to make every tackle. Disrupting plays, taking on blocks, etc.

Blanton. No question. I have to put Lynch in at #2. Lynch was in beast mode at the end of the game.

Mark Dantonio.

For going for the fake FG. Everyone in the northern hemisphere knew he was going to try for it, but he did it anyway.

What a trooper!

I'd give the game ball to the whole defense. To virtually shut down Mich. St.'s run game is impressive. After what happened at Michigan, the D really stepped it up and played lights out. Lynch is able to come in and get in the backfield because you have guys like Nix wearing down the line. On the replay of his sack it looked like Tuitt was getting triple teamed. There was a ton of energy and everyone was swarming the ball. Really great team effort. Same great effort for the offense too. Really happy with how this team played overall.

The turnovers have to be a mental thing at this point. This win will go a long way in getting the mental aspect to the right point, I think.

As much as it was exciting to see the big plays from the offensive and defensive backfields, I slice up the game ball and feed it to the guys in the trenches. Both sides, because they ate up the MSU linemen like they were sitting at the training table.

“We got really good play at the nose. I think when you talk about Nix and getting Cwynar back, that position was really strong for us on Saturday,” Kelly said. “I think we always talk about it, but both of our defensive ends were able to take on some big tackles at Michigan State. Ethan and Kap played very well against the run. Troy Niklas who came in as a true freshman kept the ball inside of them.”

Sounds like Kelly would give it to the following:

Player- Nix
Position- NT
Unit- DL

Saturday's success all started with stuffing MSU's run. Without dominating the line of scrimmage, Lynch never gets unleashed on Cousins, Blanton doesn't have such a big day, and our 4th quarter offensive swoon probably comes back to bite us in the as$.

The Offensive line... agile, mobile, and hostile. We could do anything we wanted to.

Slaughter fr 2 big turnovers and playing that hybrid LB spot against the option.

Tommy Rees for putting together his first truly complete game

Definitely the offensive line. Rees did well, but a large part of that was that he had eons to throw the ball.
