He's all natural, grass fed. He's physically in his 40s.

That's what they all say...

1) If it was Hoke, why would we fly to him.. Doesn't it make more sense he would come to us. He sure isn't coming here to be a DC.... The fanbase would lose their shiiiiii... I think this is another troll job to really feed message boards.. Kelly is the coach in 2017.. Period

Cmon, don't ruin the fun. These could be the last moments of joy for the next 9 months.

247 - No BK mention...for now.

Can't see Franklin leaving PSU for Oregon. Oregon isn't a perennial power or have a strong history. They are in that group that pops up once every 10-15 years has a good run then settle back down. This is the first year Franklin has a full scholarship load since the sanctions. Like him or not, he appears to be bringing PSU back.

Reading an article, sounds like Purdue may be waiting for the MACCG to make an offer to Fleck. Also stated not hearing anything about Miles at any school.

Do you guys think ND (or some other blue blood) could make a national championship run with a triple option offense? Not saying I want Ken Niumatalolo or think he would be a realistic option, but it's an interesting thought.

I mean we did in '88. I know that's 28 years ago, but still. 5 years later, we should have too.

I don't want to say no.... but I think it's possible. I think what hinders the triple option for a major blue blood is getting enough skill guys to buy into that philosophy. Hard to get elite WRs when you throw ~10 time a game, and then having 2-3 RBs that are blue chips (or close) wanting to share the load is something too.

Why does anyone care about Fleck's divorce? Unfortunately, success in high stress environments often comes at the expense of private relationships. That has been the case forever across all industries and professions.

It's not the divorce that's the problem. It's the issue of him being unfaithful to her and sleeping with his assistants. Could you see the Backlash if that happened while he was here? ESPN would put an office in south bend.

The silver lining for that could be internships with ESPN that could influence blue chips.

Speaking of divorce: I think Lou Somogyi said it perfectly on the podcast on where BK and the ND Admin are right now:

it's like a couple who knows the end is near but stay together. ND doesn't have a better option for coaches this year, and as far as we know, neither does BK.

If you look at any of BKs press conferences, he looks like a beaten man. Probably a big part because his team has been beaten all year but he looks pretty miserable. And that is with the press going pretty easy on him question wise.

I wouldnt be surprised if he took some time off after ND gives him his walking papers after the .500 season next year

Yeah, that's bad. Imagine Kelly and BVG getting it on? Gross. Now Diaco on the other hand would make sense. That hair. Either way, sleeping with your assistants is a bad idea. Maybe that's why Booker still has a job

A poster on NDNation is pushing the Kelly to Oregon talk; completely unconfirmed. But I like seeing those angry men squirm with hope.

I don't know but I wouldn't hate trying. I'd throw Ivin Jasper out there as an idea.

He's a complete ahole and would get eaten alive in South Bend. He's not well liked in Chapel Hill. No thanks on him.

If Cap'n Jack can somehow get BK onto someone else's payroll, and open up the ND job with no buyout, he deserves a statue at mid field that all players just have to avoid and deal with for the rest of football.
