Jon Cleary is an underrated (or under appreciated) New Orleans’ musician. I used to date a girl that lived off of Port Street in Bywater. We listened to this a lot in the mornings while having coffee.

I've been watching some early concert footage of silverchair. I really miss them, Daniel Johns is a great artist and their 5 albums each bring something different musically. I really wish they would've ended properly at least with a farewell tour (another album would've been nice). Neon Ballroom is my favorite album lyrically and Diorama is my favorite album musically. They've got to have something in the vaults; maybe one day they will release something.....

My buddy had an extra ticket Thursday night in Philly to see Alcest. I never listened to them before until the car ride down. The concert was awesome, and I’m hooked now! Post black metal/black-gaze band from France.

This dude is a true Cajun and has songs that make you think you’re in South Louisiana. I’m sure you know him well but I still love one of his early songs that put him on the map.

Yeah, I'm totally not hip to trends, but even I've seen at least like...5 of the "Mom what were you like in the 90s" videos that have come up on the Facewebz in the last few weeks.

I always felt Parsons was a better drummer than Travis Barker from that genre.

I love this song by Big Audio Dynamite. It was from the soundtrack of a 1993 movie entitled “Amongst Friends”. Highly recommend the movie if you can even find it these days. Love Mick Jones voice whether it was w/ BAD or The Clash
