He's not anyone's mascot.
Say what you want about this band but they had some great rock/metal songs and kicked serious ass live. None of their recordings ever managed to capture that.
One of their best songs in my opinion.
You can’t stop Rock and Roll as well. Hair metal was awesomeI always thought “Burn in Hell” & “Captain Howdy” were underrated
Ok, I went back and listened to those and I may have been a few beers in when I made the original comment. But at the time “Stay Hungry” was underrated when it came to the songs that weren’t the MTV hits. “The Price” was another one I liked back in the day.I always thought “Burn in Hell” & “Captain Howdy” were underrated
Rich Men North of Richmond - Federal Employee cut. Accurate.
I can picture you rocking out to this in like SUV driving in a white picket neighborhood being like "Damn, these kids don't know how hard I used to be...son put on some Limp Bizkit for Dad"
This soundtrack is amazing and way ahead of any numetal. But yeah I blow up my block with this. Haha.I can picture you rocking out to this in like SUV driving in a white picket neighborhood being like "Damn, these kids don't know how hard I used to be...son put on some Limp Bizkit for Dad"

Love Mike Patton but I also loved this song from the original lead singer
Epic is hall of fame level album. It’s a top 10 album for me. I hold FNM in the pantheon of best rock acts. I was also one of the first people in my orbit to discover them and people didn’t know what to think. Same with Fishbone. I’ve been listening to Fishbone since the early 80s and still people are like who is this? LolNo but thanks for sharing. I will check it out. I still remember buying the “Epic” cassette at Peaches Records back in the late 80s and being blown away. Then they rocketed to stardom via MTV before leveling out with even better (yet less commercial) music. Still like their version of “Easy”.
Angel dust is that top album for me. So influential on everything that has come out in the last 30 years.Epic is hall of fame level album. It’s a top 10 album for me. I saw Fishbone at a local club here a month ago ( almost the entire same band minus the guitarist) and they are still killing it.
My man! I’m banned from listening to Mr Bungle at home. My wife will walk out on me if I do it anymore. The Mr Bungle Selftitled album freaks her outPatton rules.
The re-recording of Mr bungle demo a couple years ago is a thrash masterpiece. I also love the Peeping Tom album.
I’ve been setting my son on a musical discovery path and he loves numetal (Deftones, Disturbed) but really loves Enter Shikari, Tool, Mastadon, Russian Circles, Isis too and stuff like that. He came across Disturbed covering Midlife Crisis. I didn’t know they covered it and he didn’t know it was a cover. So I gave him Angel Dust and it’s on repeat daily in his room.Angel dust is that top album for me. So influential on everything that has come out in the last 30 years.
I remember my junior year at ND, a girl I was seeing came over and disco volante was on. She looked at me, made a face, and left. 🤣My man! I’m banned from listening to Mr Bungle at home. My wife will walk out on me if I do it anymore. The Mr Bungle Selftitled album freaks her out
