I was fortunate to see the Grateful Dead a handful of times (1994-1995) before Jerry passed way. I never got into Dead & Friends and felt the tickets were too expensive for their final tour. Since they were a lasting influence on my life, I wanted to share it with my 10 year old son. We will be seeing Bob Weir & Wolf Bros next week at Pier 6 on the Baltimore harbor. What a long strange trip it’s been.

Been listening to a lot of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard lately. Incredible volume of music they put out. Really there's an album of there's for any person out there. Their 25th album is coming out in a couple of weeks. Also saw Arctic Monkeys in Red Rocks a couple weeks ago and it was incredible

I have not. I need to. I was a bit disappointed by the Gold and Grey album. I love me some Gina

Gold and Grey was good... It just wasn't what I think we all thought it would be.

But Stone... WOW
There was no way they were going to top purple, but I was so bummed out by gold and grey. It has a few moments, but overall, it's just meh. Maybe in a vacuum I would like it more but I've tried many times. Stone on the other hand is so good. Everything just flows so well and it's even better listening to the whole thing than the individual songs. Great return to form.

Some parts of the song are even a little Doorsy…..
Definitely got a Morrison vibe from singer’s voice. Ian Astbury did a helluva job fronting the remaining Doors not long ago when they were rotating lead singers for a tribute show or album (can’t remember the circumstance). Ian has one of the best rock voice but he’s a typical frontman…batshit crazy.

Been listening to a lot of Uada lately. They just released their newest album a couple weeks ago. I also got to see them two weeks ago in Philly. Some great stuff........ if you're into this sort of music.

I love the singers voice. As much as you both hear the doors/Morrison, it reminds me of solo Mark Lanegan. This is probably my favorite song of theirs. Another emotional and brilliant song from the singer.

I like the music. I've never been able to get into most black metal vocals.

It was actually the keyboard break in the song that made me think of The Doors but a little on the vocals as well. Mark Lanegan, hadn’t heard that name in a while.

Came across this band awhile back. They were outta Denver and just getting going, then decided to break up. Their sound is an updated mashup of Motörhead and speed metal.
