I love when we wear green. But don’t love the idea of it against Clemson without Lawrence. Would completely want green if we got Clemson with Lawrence.

I doubt it means the team wears green. Like someone said earlier, this is more about getting fans to wear one color (even in a smaller capacity due to COVID) than anything. ND has long had a problem, we all know this, of fans not being a cohesive unit and wearing a color for some type of "___-out."

Color-outs are so 2012 anyway. Doesn't work great with ND's primary colors either. If you had 75K fans rocking navy blue it doesnt look like much. Would look better with Kelly Green. I kinda wonder how gold would look, probably bad.. oh well. I'd just as soon have a raucous ND stadium. That place should be a miserable place to play and too often its a polite and friendly environment for the bad guys.

They still seem t work well at PSU. The issue is, like you said, the way our crowd is. Living in Penn State territory, I can't tell you how amped people are for white out games, it's certainly a different level of excitement for the fans. That translates to a loud, sustained crowd noise. It also helps that their alumni WANT to stand and cheer and go nuts. Meanwhile, you have blue hairs at ND upset that someone even thinks about shaking some keys on a 3rd down.

Waching 49ers vs packers I’d rather have the irish wear the San Fran color pants and helmet color than the mustard and brass faucet helmets right now. Since 2018 the helmets look brutal at night and overcast imo

Sure hope not. We tried to throw some green on the uniform (gloves, cleats, etc.) in the 2018 game and....

What’s the beef with UA?

The quality of cleats (or lack thereof) are often attributed to the outbreak of foot and ankle injuries. Whether that is coincidental or causal is up for debate.

I have enjoyed the quality of the UA gear, but I'm not playing D1 football and can't speak to the quality of the cleats, and if there really is cause for concern regarding player safety, that's far more important IMO.
