Tried watching the chair company and the main character is too annoying and pathetic. I was looking forward to welcome to Derry but the episodes are over the top and not as good as the trailer. Casting for many of the younger characters is quite lame. Wanted to love it. Both versions of IT are better. I will try to hang in there to see if there is any payoff. King is milking it.

Just finished FUBAR on Netflix. Comedy Spy Action. Not great, but decent. A lot of references to Arnold's old movies written into the script.

I'm watching Monster: The Ed Gein Story on Netflix. Mixed feelings about it. It has a good cast, good acting, the cinematography really captures the bleakness of the house and rural northern Wisconsin in the winter, and it's a very good story. It gets deeper than anything else I've seen into what shaped Ed, the relationship with his fanatical mother, and even Hitchcock's making of Psycho and the confusion and personal issues of Anthony Perkins during filming. The problem is that it's not much closer to being historically accurate than Hitchcock's film. Great show just to watch, but only loosely based on the actual events.

Just finished “All Her Fault” on Peacock. Highly recommend. More plot twists than the CFP weekly rankings.

I pictured a “24” type of red herring twist in every episode. I like it in theory, but lack the patience.

It’s only 8 episodes and you don’t have to wait a week for the next one to come out. I didn’t watch 24 but didn’t it go on for multiple seasons?

I think it was multiple seasons with each one being a complete storyline. I only got halfway through the first though.
There was a detective story that was similar also. The Killing?

Too many red herrings for me.

I’ve really enjoyed Stranger Things. Can’t believe it’s been a decade since the debut of the first season. The development of the characters has been great.

The Bear on Hulu just completed a great season, as well.

Mayor of Kingstown is back, haven’t started the new season, but it looks promising.
