The 7th episode of Paradise is one of the more intense episodes of a show I've ever seen.

I hope the second season is as good as the first.

True detective season one was good. Last episode was a kinda let down but the last scene was decent. Season two couldn’t have started worse. Give me one likable or interesting character please.
TD Season 1 is one of the most iconic seasons of TV in the history of TV. It really set season 2 up to fail, IMO. Impossible to follow that act.

Szn 3 and 4 are better, but again, szn 1's success gives the rest of the show mixed reviews. Can't hold a candle to szn 1 honestly.

I hated that show. I wanted to like it and thought I would but felt it was hanging onto teasers that never came to anything.
Really?! I think you're the first person who I've heard hate that show. I thought it was brilliant, and different. But, to each their own. I think Adam Scott is fantastic in it.

Started watching The Better Sister on Prime. Finished the first 3 episodes. Not too bad. Jessica Biel is decent, but Elizabeth Banks is really good. Does a great job of making you want to punch her in the face.

I just see this thing falling off the rails going into the second season. I think they shot their load too soon with the "coup" plot and it felt a bit rushed. Certainly a good idea for a show, but it felt a bit hamfisted at time. I'll watch the second season when it comes out though

Started The Waterfront on Netflix today. So good I’m up thru E5 already. Stars Holt McCallany and Maria Bello. I’m really liking it. Very similar to Ozark.

Maria Bello use to be hot. Unfortunately She succumbed to the lure of plastic surgery.

Half way through Your Friends and Neighbors with Jon Hamm. Entertaining and different, also helps that I love Jon Hamm.

Watched the first episode last night.

They really jammed a lot of plotlines into the first 50 minutes. It's like Ozark and Bloodline. Hopefully as good or better.

I have two episodes left. I like it so far. Nothing terribly crazy and it's holding up well. Some predictability but it's entertaining and engaging.

Bree is by far my favorite character to this point.

Finished up The Waterfront.

The last two episodes were a little goofy but it's an entertaining show. Nothing too shark jumpy in terms of plotlines, but it's definitely wild. I enjoyed it.

Entertained by Squid Game Season 3. The people who came up with this concept have very dark minds.

The Bear Season 4 was fantastic. The acting and writing is great. Really enjoy the show and might go back to do a rewatch of all four seasons.

Just finished Silo last night. Cannot wait until Szn 3. Took a few episodes for szn 1 to really grab my attention but it was worth the 2-3 episode wait. Incredible stuff, highly recommend. Apple TV originals have been on point.

The Last Narc on Prime. Focuses on the murder of DEA agent Enrique `Kiki" Camarena in '85. Mexico's corruption went all the way to the top. Eye opening. Highly recommend.

The Gringo Hunters on Netflix. Don't recommend.

The first season of Narcos was about Kiki

Yep. This is about the investigation of his death by the DEA. Goes a lot deeper. Interviews with members of the cartel and corrupt law enforcement. Guys that were there. The DEA agent who was responsible for investigating his death and uncovers a member of the CIA who was involved in Kiki's death.

Watched Becoming Led Zeppelin. It was interesting and all (those guys were musical savants across the board) but it completely avoided the creepy groupie sexual predation that was pretty common back then.

Also watched Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk recently. This was interesting in that I know and or have meet most of the people featured in it.

Again, it completely glossed over some of the crazier more degenerate shit that went on. Case in point, Sam McBride from the band FANG is interviewed and they conveniently ignore the fact that he was sentenced to prison for murdering his girlfriend.

Anyhow, Billy Joe from Green Bay is a fuckhead. Lol.
