It does seemingly take forever...unless you step away and then it overcooks the coffee.

A very good beer but very sweet.

I had some freshly bottled (about 10 days ago) Alpine Nelson last night. Much better than it has been in recent years but not as good as the before Green Flash bought it.

Agreed on all accounts. My friend actually told me to make a syrup with Curmudgeon's Better Half. I might try it around Thanksgiving because of the maple flavor.

Yesterday I had: Odell Cloud Catcher Milkshake IPA. Much better than the only other Milkshake IPA I've tried, but the lactose isn't something I like in my IPAs.

Bell's Wild One, a sour Brown. Very tasty

Today: Clausthaler NA dry-hopped. Really enjoy this when I want a beer but know I shouldn't have one

Another Curmudgeon's Better Half to celebrate finally making a good batch of picadillo. Also made a great empanadas using the picadillo. Double celebration.

Also I'm beginning a 2 week dry spell starting Wednesday so better load up now.

I tried a Boulevard Bourbon Barrell Quad this week. I'm not usually a huge fan of Boulevard, but this was very good.
