Founders Breakfast Stout after a long day. Took the kids to the pumpkin farm and saw pumpkins shot out of a homemade cannon. Awesome btw. Then took them to a bump and run and it started freaking snowing. Also pretty cool. Add raking, cleaning up the house, and cooking for two bottomless suckers and I'm beat. But it's my time now, let's get them bastards! Go Irish!!

Just picked up 4 Bell's Porters, 1 Bell's Oarsman Ale, and 1 Bell's Expedition Stout (which is apparently pretty damn expensive, but the guy only charged me the price of another Oarsman).

Oarsman Ale? Good deal on the Expedition!

That's the one!

Sorry, never had it or the Expedition so I'm unfamiliar with the names, and they are sitting in my fridge as I finish off a Porter.

No need to be sorry. They're about polar opposites, haha. Oarsman is just ok, super light, low abv%. It's a good beer while you're eating. Expedition is great IMO (but I love stouts), it's probably about thrice as strong as that Oarsman. It's a meal in itself so save the Oarsman for chicken wing time!

Yea, I thought I saw the Oarsman was pretty light, but not until I was in check-out...that's good news on the Expedition though!

Just giving you a hard time. Though Flutie is being really annoying.

Haha, yeah I know you were. No problem, I deserved it. As long as you're here pkt, should I drink this bomber of Dogfish Head Theobroma or is it something I should wait and share? I'm not sure I'll want to drink it all.

That is a share beer to me. Something that is interesting to taste but too much of might ruin the enjoyment.

Drunk on SC and Skunkbear tears.... I find the spice notes to be quite fruity, and there's little to nothing in the malt, but I highly enjoy drinking these anyway...
