Coronado Sock Knocker IIPA. Some citrus (in particular lime, lemon and grapefruit), saltine cracker, and some floral bitterness). Not bad but not great.

Today at lunch I had Deschutes Foray Belgian IPA and He'Brew Wishbone Session DIPA.

Now a bomber of Stone RIS half in tje stout glass and half from a pub glass. The stout glass really brings out the aromas. My final impression of the stout glass is that it is a large improvement on pint/pub glasses and only a moderate improvement over tulip glasses. I think that the IPA glass is a slightly better glass but the stout glass is worth buying if you regularly buy stouts.

I really want to know what a session double IPA is, as it was 8%.

Piemonte Barbera 2013. Good stuff, especially for the 13 bucks.

Talisker 18: Wonderful soft notes of smokey peaches and nectarines, a little pepper, barley, and a little brine.

Talisker Storm: Smokey malt, vanilla, wet bandages, brine and some pepper.

My wife and I keep joking that moon beam is gonna drain our pool any day so enjoy it while we can... ;)

One BP did, the other one (Ballast Point) has been busy making great beers.

Nice to know that at least ONE BP is doing good things.

I just hope that that the water used for brewing beer remains potable.

Having a Golden Road wolf among weeds IPA and watching some crackhead run around the bar. It's just me, the bartender and the afore mentioned crackhead. It's kind of like the NBA finals when the Warriors go with the small lineup...

I really like Wolf Among Weeds. I love that Golden Road now distributes to AZ.

Don't bury the lead. What was the crackhead drinking?

Water....pounded a bunch of candy from the gumball style vending machines then she asked to use the bar phone 15 times.

That's what you get for taking your date to an empty bar....

Desert Barn Brewery the other night... Caramel Apple Cinnamon Ale with Brown Sugar coating the rim... that's the kind of beer that gets me to breweries, adventures like that, the beer was just okay, but the adventure of it was worth it.

Yesterday: 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon

Surprisingly tasty for a hot day. A tad bit too sweet, but still great choice for a beer to drown on a hot summer day.

That looks wonderful but sounds sweet. SanTan Brewery here in AZ has a beer, Fat Albert that is brewed with smoked apples and brown sugar that is very enjoyable, slightly sweet but not over the top.
