BREAKING: EA SPORTS is on campus shooting a commercial for their 2014 NCAA Football video game cover competition.

2 pm, Rockne's statue, come dressed in ND gear and tell them why you love Notre Dame Football.

During the 12-0 regular season I was certain Manti Te'o was going to be on the cover. Not so sure about that as of yet. It could still happen!

No it won't. They are talking that Manti is dropping out of the 1st and deep in the 2nd.

What would they put if ND wins it??? They won't touch Teo at this point... Just the Dome and the Lep? They have to put a player somewhere...

Yeah, they won't put Te'o on there, and I'm not sure what graduating senior would replace him. It may be safe to say that Notre Dame won't be on the cover. Given how poorly many elite teams played this season I'm not sure who they would put on the cover. I would say they could put Lacy or someone from Alabama on there, but they were just on the cover 2 years ago, so that would be a bit stale.

For other finalists, I can't see anyone going from Texas A&M since it's all Manziel. He would be the #1 pick probably for the cover if he wasn't a freshman and still playing. I would say Stanford's Taylor would be an option, but they're not in the finalists. Denard could be a possibility I guess given Michigan is in there, although his mystique faltered this season. For OSU they could put John Simon on the cover, although I don't remember if and when the last time they've done a lineman. For FSU I would guess EJ Maniel. Oregon had a cover, but it was 10 years ago, so maybe Kenjon Barner could go on there I would think. That leaves Georgia who I don't think has ever been on the cover, but I can't even tell you who they would pick to represent them.

Based on the above finalists and assuming they won't use a school that recently got the cover...I'm going to go with Kenjon Barner.
